The third Anna Albertini book, and it\u2019s another crazy, exciting, and wildly entertaining ride for Anna and the people in her life. It\u2019s fun and frantic, and I loved every moment of it!<\/p>\n

Anna and Clark are finally opening up their own law firm, so she has new (and old) people to help, she\u2019s still being stalked by a journalist who seems to have it out for her, her boyfriend is working a dangerous undercover job trying to find a serial bomber, and now his ex-girlfriend is in town, biker bitches are after her, oh, and she\u2019s just discovered that she\u2019s the lead suspect in a murder case. There\u2019s even an incident with a potato gun! It\u2019s full on, but somehow all of the crazy comes together and it works to create a fantastically fun read that I couldn\u2019t put down.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve learned the hard way that when I try to protect Anna at arm\u2019s length, I end up getting shot. Or she gets something blown up. Whatever is going on, she knows the full story. Period.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is action and excitement, and I laughed-out-loud so many times, wondering how Anna was going to get herself out of her latest dilemma, while also navigating her eccentric family and their dramas and outlandish plots (the matchmaking grannies are hilarious!). And in the middle of the madness, there is a beautiful romance as Anna and Aiden settle into a relationship together at last.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard enough making sure you survive your job, and under no circumstances will I allow my job to put you in danger. You\u2019re mine \u2026 Right inside me, and you have to stay safe.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The big badass is there for his girl through everything, supporting and protecting her, and so many scenes in this book had me swooning. There are also big, kickass moments where Aiden storms in to save the day (be still my heart), and tender moments to keep the romantic in me satisfied, and of course, there\u2019s a nice amount of steamy time. They are committed and functional, and I love their relationship so much!<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, at the end of <\/i>any day, Aiden Devlin will choose me.\u201d
\nHer nostrils flared. \u201cAnd why is that?\u201d
\n\u2026 \u201cBecause I chose him.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Characters introduced earlier in the series continue to play a big part, and I\u2019m loving how they have their own stories going on, all intertwined with Anna and her unpredictable life. I\u2019m fully entrenched in this series, and can\u2019t wait to see where the next book takes us.<\/p>\n

So much fun, I loved it! 5 stars.<\/p>\n
