Holden is a rising baseball player. He focusses on the game and is a planner when it comes to everything in his life. However, he veers off course when he meets Reese and his life is irrevocably changed before he knows it.<\/p>\n

I got up that morning with one goal. But then I met her, ditched my plans for the afternoon, and spent it with her instead. When I kissed her at the edge of campus, beneath the twilit sky, under a canopy of trees, the night felt young and <\/i>possible.
\nEven though we weren\u2019t. We were worlds apart, absolutely <\/i>impossible.
\nThat\u2019s how she became my what-if girl.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Holden and Reese share an amazing day that turns into an unforgettable evening. They have a connection and they want to try being in a relationship despite the fact it would be long distance. Reese is a determined, confident heroine, and Holden is a sweet, swoony hero. From the start, they just click. They have fantastic chemistry, and fun, flirty, banter. They are open and honest, and it\u2019s easy between them.<\/p>\n

Now, she\u2019s the coach\u2019s daughter and totally off limits. Bring on the sexual tension. It\u2019s so thick when these two are together and it doesn\u2019t take long before they give in, and it is sweet, swoony, and smoking hot.<\/p>\n

I want to say that we can be friends. But Holden and I were never friends. We were a match set to kindling. We were instant attraction. We were passion and respect, igniting all at once. We were destined for one path and one path only.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved the pacing of the story, and I believed the progression of their relationship. I also love that there is very little drama. They are mature and reasonable and know how to communicate. They just make sense, and I was rooting for them the moment they met.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t have a plan. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s next. But I know this much\u2014it\u2019s not time to move on. It\u2019s time to go for it. Whatever the hell that entails.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Overall, I loved The Virgin Game Plan<\/i>. Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and this one was really well done. It\u2019s original and entertaining and so much fun. I adored Holden and Reese and enjoyed their story.<\/p>\n
