This is the second book in the Gravity<\/i> series, an unexpected, sweet and emotional romance, and I enjoyed it.<\/p>\n

Hank \u2018Hazardous\u2019 Lazarus is a champion snowboarder with the world at his feet, until a tragic accident upends his life as he knows it, leaving him in a wheelchair, and without the sport or the career that defines him.<\/p>\n

Dr Callie Anders was introduced in the first book of the series as the best friend of heroine, Willow. She met Hank briefly before he had his accident, though his trauma has resulted in him not remembering that encounter, but she is there for him in hospital as he recovers, and when his wealthy parents donate a wad of money to the hospital to develop a therapy program that may benefit their son, he insists that she be the one to run it.<\/p>\n

It puts them in a bit of an awkward situation, especially considering their attraction to each other, but they develop a sweet, honest friendship, as they (distantly) work together, and the sexual tension builds beautifully.<\/p>\n

But Hank is still coming to terms with his disability, and Callie has been hurt badly in love, and is reluctant to get involved again \u2013 especially when the relationship could jeopardise her career.<\/p>\n

These two have a lot of issues to work through, but it\u2019s a sweet journey watching them find their way, and we eventually see their romance blossom against the odds, and it was lovely to see.<\/p>\n

This book didn\u2019t capture my feels like the first book in the series, but it was still a sweet read that left me with a smile on my face.<\/p>\n
