Elves with Benefits<\/i> is full of laughs and a little over the top Christmas-wise but it is a super cute holiday romance.\u00a0Maggie Harrison\u2019s childhood wasn\u2019t the best because her parents always fought. When they divorced it made it impossible to enjoy the holidays with both her mom and dad, and she felt alone and misplaced. As an adult, she finally found a place to call her own in Reindeer Falls.<\/p>\n

Maggie loves all things Christmas so when Ryan Shepherd shows up after inheriting his uncle\u2019s house and he wants nothing more to list it and get out of town, avoiding all things Christmas, it\u2019s irks Maggie to no end. She is determined to be the one to change him and will stop at nothing to do so.<\/p>\n

Ryan is a Grinch. There\u2019s no getting around it. But for every Grinch, there is also a Cindy Lou Who, someone who can drag that Grinch over to the right side of Christmas. Someone who can show them that the magic is real, that Christmas is worth believing in. Worth celebrating. Worth the hype, even.
\nSomeone needs to be his Cindy Lou Who. And really, why not me? In the spirit of Christams, of course. Besides, it\u2019s my job. Basically. Close enough. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Maggie and Ryan start off on the wrong foot. The fact that he doesn\u2019t show love for Christmas like Maggie is infuriating, and I absolutely love that he irritates her with ever encounter. She doesn\u2019t back down and fate seems to keep throwing them together.<\/p>\n

Their attraction is palpable and the sexual tension increases with every interaction. They have smoking hot chemistry when these two finally make a move and Maggie is in heaven with her new Christmas romance.<\/p>\n

Things take a detour but I love how everything comes together in the end and I love when Ryan really brings on the swoon. The last few pages filled my heart and the whole novella got me in the holiday mood. I can\u2019t wait for more Reindeer Falls<\/em> and am so excited for Jake and Sutton\u2019s story, One Night With A Nutcracker<\/i>!<\/p>\n
