I absolutely adore Sophie and Shep, and I love their story!!<\/p>\n Sophie has had nothing but bad luck when it comes to relationships. She always picks the wrong guys and she finally realizes that she needs to step back and focus on herself. Shep comes into Sophie\u2019s life at the worst possible moment. She can\u2019t be in a relationship and she has a lot going on. She tells his as much but he still works his way into her life and ends up changing everything.<\/p>\n Sophie is a hot mess and the timing is all wrong but Shep couldn\u2019t be more right for her, and they are amazing together. The friendship they form is real and so entertaining. The banter is hilarious and their interactions always put a smile on my face. I adored Shep\u2019s carefree nature and his spontaneity. He takes her away from her complicated life for a bit. They get along so well and it was adorable how Shep found a way into her heart when she was trying her hardest to keep herself from falling for someone while her life was so complicated. They are both so kind and loving, and such great people. I just wanted their HEA but I knew it wouldn\u2019t be easy.<\/p>\n This story is more than just a rom com. While it is very much a fun read, the feels are very real and add so much depth and heart to the story. Both Sophie and Shep grow throughout book and realize what they want out of life. Shep has to deal with his past and Sophie needs to focus on her current situations. They face some challenges but I knew that they would find a way to make things work because I never doubted that these two were meant to be. I devoured every part of their love story to see how things played out and I enjoyed the ride. Shep and Sophie have found a special place in my heart and this book has found a spot on my favorites shelf.
