Her characters are real and I love that she throws us into their lives and makes us live all the pain, growth, love, and healing right along with the characters.<\/p>\n Between Hello and Goodbye<\/i> is an unforgettable read packed with so much emotion that it takes you on one heck of a ride. My heart felt everything as we navigated Faith and Asher\u2019s love story and I could not put it down.<\/p>\n Faith is smart and successful. She just landed another multi-million dollar deal and has the opportunity to make partner if\u2026and it is a big if\u2026she can get her life together. The firm is tired of her party girl ways and her tardiness and tells her she needs to take some time to reassess her life and what is important to her. So, she heads to Hawaii for a reset and it doesn\u2019t exactly go her way.<\/p>\n On Faith\u2019s first day, she sprains an ankle on a hike and it nearly sends her home. However, Asher, the firefighter\/paramedic who helped rescue her, inserts himself into her life to help her make the most of her time while she heals. Unexpectedly, he changes her mind and with it, her life.<\/p>\n These two are amazing together. Their banter, their chemistry, and their growth are all remarkable. Faith is at a crossroads in her life and she really needed this trip to help her figure things out and her sprain ankle threatens everything. Asher has been in her shoes and needed a reset, too, once and it changed everything for him. He doesn\u2019t want her to give up on what she was looking for within herself so he does what he can to help her.<\/p>\n They don\u2019t exactly get along right off the bat but Faith is a hoot and says what\u2019s on her mind and it is a breath of fresh air for Asher. The banter is entertaining and I love their conversations. They are always dripping with innuendoes and Faith and Asher always make the other smile.<\/p>\n There is amazing chemistry between them and they hold off as long as they could. When they finally get together they have to wonder why they waited so long. They fit together perfectly but at the end of the trip there still remains a big ocean between them, literally. Faith heads back to Seattle while Asher stays on the island.<\/p>\n Faith and Asher are two souls who are meant to be together, it just took them a little time to figure it out. There is a lot of growth for both throughout the book and they definitely feel so much when it comes to the other, and I felt everything right along with them. I felt the heartbreak, frustration, and anger for things that were out of their control. I felt the forgiveness and love that shines through. They have challenges that break them and others that heal them.<\/p>\n The trip to Hawaii was supposed to help Faith, and it did, but it ended up helping Asher, too. I love that Faith finally found what she was looking for and that Asher\u2019s life was changed the moment she entered it. There is so much more to Asher than he lets the world see. Once you break down the walls he put up around his heart you get the sweetest most loving man.\u00a0He turns up the swoon and I just about burst with joy when he made up his mind. And his love for Faith was deep and beautiful.<\/p>\n When tragedy strikes as it always does, my heart shattered. They had to endure a lot in order to find themselves back to one another and when they do it is breathtaking and unforgettable.<\/p>\n Overall, this book is fantastic and I couldn\u2019t stop from devouring it. It\u2019s a must read for anyone who love reading because it\u2019s so much more than just a romance. It\u2019s deep and full of so much heart and soul, so don\u2019t miss out on this amazing story.
