Sometimes, if we’re lucky, life gives us the kind of second chance that reminds us how right it was the first time.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

OMG!! I absolutely loved everything about\u00a0The Redo.<\/em> Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and when I heard about Remy’s story I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I knew it would be amazing \u00a0and it certainly did not disappoint.<\/p>\n

Remy’s heart was broken when his fianc\u00e9e left him at the alter. Years later, he continues to keep his heart locked up tight and it not interested in relationships. However, when he bumps into someone from the past, there was no way of knowing just how much that interaction would change everything!<\/p>\n

Remy and Maria have a history. They were high school sweethearts who didn’t last when Remy went to college. \u00a0It’s been nearly two decades since they’ve really seen each other so its a pleasant surprise when they get stuck in an elevator. \u00a0When they get stuck in an elevator for a second time and things go unexpectedly, they share an unforgettable moment that will stay with them forever and lead them back to each other.<\/p>\n

Remy is the same sweet, swoony, big hearted guy who always wants to help out and Maria is definitely in need of some help. \u00a0These two are amazing together when they allow themselves to be part of each others lives. \u00a0Maria didn’t know she would need Remy as much as she does and Remy didn’t know how much Maria would change his life. \u00a0She was the one who got away and I love that though they are both still attracted to each other they get to know each other again before they actually make any moves.<\/p>\n

This story takes place mostly in the present but because we get flashbacks of the past when they first start dating we almost get two stories in one for the same couple. \u00a0I loved watching the young love grow and also getting the more mature love that blossoms between two busy people whose lives are more than complicated.<\/p>\n

There is a lot of growth for both Maria and Remy and I loved seeing the roles they take on. \u00a0Maria grows so much after delivering Izzy and I loved that she comes into her own as a mother. And Remy learns so much about himself as he helps out Maria. Remy with Izzy is one of the swooniest thing I’ve read and I melted every time he watched her.<\/p>\n

Maria and Remy have a history but there is no drama or stupidity when it comes to them. \u00a0its an emotional read because there is heartache and pain but the love in the book outshines the sadness. I loved every aspect of their relationship from when they were just friends to when they became more and \u00a0adored them together. They reentered each others lives at the right moment and I felt like it was fate. They were always meant to be but sometimes it takes some time to get to the place in your life where they could truly stay together. This is how their story goes and it is a fantastic combination of second chances and friends to lovers. I devoured it!<\/p>\n

This book not only features our main couple but has so much of the other Winslows and their significant others and even Thatch and Kline. \u00a0I loved that they support each other unconditionally but also joke around like families do. They want the very best for their loved ones and I enjoyed every single moment we got the other Winslows and company. Cleo was an added bonus and I loved her part in the story. I waited for her texts and then the ending was perfect.\u00a0Overall,\u00a0The Redo<\/i> was everything I wanted and more. And that extended epilogue?! I loved loved loved it!! A new fave!!<\/p>\n
