Tempt <\/em>brings us back to Cloverleigh Farms<\/em><\/a> for Millie’s story, and it did not disappoint. She’s the oldest of the MacAllister sisters and she has had bad luck when it comes to finding “the one.” Whenever a boyfriend becomes an ex, he ends up marring the next girl he dates, and most of the time Millie is the one to introduce them.\u00a0 She is actually helping her most recent ex with his wedding and though she knows they were always better as friends, it still stings a bit. When she is on a work trip to New York City, her sisters convince her to go down to the bar and just have some fun.\u00a0 She’s not really a one-night stand kind of girl but she figures a drink wouldn’t hurt and maybe she’ll connect with someone.<\/p>\n

When a hot older stranger saves her from an obnoxious bar patron, they hit it off and spend an amazing night together. She leaves in the morning with his business card in hand knowing she will probably never use it.\u00a0 And though she doesn’t call the number on the card, she still can\u2019t seem to get him out of her head.\u00a0 A few weeks later, at the rehearsal dinner of her ex, she sees the stranger from the bar, and it turns out that he is her ex’s father. It doesn’t matter that Zach only found out a few months ago that he fathered a child when he was 18, he knows nothing can happen with Millie if he wants a relationship with his son.<\/p>\n

Millie and Zach are so good together. Their chemistry was off the charts when they met\u00a0but now they\u00a0have to pretend they didn’t rock each other\u2019s worlds\u00a0that night in New York. The forbidden aspect makes the sexual tension grow and they two can\u2019t seem to keep their hands off of each other. Stolen moments, secret trips, and a whole lot of long distance phone calls give Millie and Zach the chance to get to know each other and they can\u2019t help but fall fast. However, with all forbidden, secret relationships, it\u2019s only a matter of time before things are out in the open and the fallout might not be something they can come back from.<\/p>\n

Tempt <\/i>gives us the right amount of heat and heart and I was rooting for Millie and Zach from the beginning. They have a fantastic connection but their situation makes everything difficult.\u00a0 Add in the fact that they want different things and it seems like these two could never make it work. I understood all the reservations and felt the longing deep inside my heart.\u00a0 I just wanted these two to have the love they deserved and they couldn\u2019t have been better for each other. But, they have to come to terms with what they truly want and sacrifices are made and hearts are broken. <\/p>\n

Overall, I love the way things played out and my heart is bursting for Millie\u2019s happily-ever-after. I also love all the characters that play a part in Millie and Zach’s lives. Getting more of the Cloverleigh cast always makes my heart smile.<\/p>\n
