Dylan Thomas is the last of five sisters to have a book in this series. She is the loud one, the boisterous, confident, take-no-crap, say-it-like-it-is ballbuster, and she\u2019s been hilarious as a side character in her sister\u2019s stories. Finally getting the chance to get inside of her head and experience her love story was even better than I thought it would be.<\/p>\n

As a newly graduated lawyer, Dylan has just scored a job with the local NHL team. It\u2019s the job of a lifetime, but she immediately clashes with her new boss, Wolfgang Wayburn, soon to take over as owner of the team, and a grouchy, arrogant ex-SEAL who gives her 90 days to prove herself or else she\u2019ll lose her job. They are quickly thrown into working very closely together, and it\u2019s clear that their initial interactions are just the tip of the iceberg, these two hate each other, and they hold nothing back in sharing their feelings.<\/p>\n

Of course, the man didn\u2019t laugh in a normal way. It was this angry, dismissive laugh \u2013 and it pissed me off. \u201cCould you stop with the arrogant laugh. Either laugh correctly or don\u2019t laugh at all. It\u2019s very condescending, and I don\u2019t respond well to that.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Everything about each other pisses them off, and it\u2019s so entertaining watching them constantly bicker. Making it even better, Dylan is given the team\u2019s apartment to live in \u2013 right next door to Wolf. Making it even better again\u2026 the more time they spend together, they develop a completely unwanted attraction that makes them even angrier at each other.<\/p>\n

She wore no makeup and managed to be completely fucking gorgeous with zero effort. That shit pissed me off because I didn\u2019t want to be attracted to her.<\/i><\/p>\n

The man oozed BDE.<\/em>
\nBut he\u2019d met his match.<\/em>
\nBecause we both had big dick energy.<\/em>
\nAnd I would not back down, even if he was the sexiest man I\u2019d ever laid eyes on.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s a fantastic set up absolutely sizzling with sexual tension, and it\u2019s only a matter of time before all of that chemistry leads to the blisteringly hot encounter that we\u2019ve been desperately waiting for.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop fucking talking, Minx.\u201d His face was so close to mine, his warm breath tickled my cheek as anger radiated from his body.
\n\u201cDon\u2019t tell me what to do, you pompous ass.\u201d I shoved at his chest as he crowded my space.

All of that hate translates into steamy and intense sexy time and Wolf and Dylan are on fire together! They continue to fight and antagonise each other, but in private they take out all of that anger on each other, and it\u2019s absolutely sizzling!<\/p>\n

The dirty talk. The banter. The arguing. The attraction.
\n<\/i>The sex.
\nI\u2019d never enjoyed hating someone so much.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The unexpected shift from enemies-with-benefits to more<\/i> is natural and effortless. Things just organically change between them, and I loved watching them fall into something that neither of them wanted or expected. They just go with it, following their feelings and doing what feels right, and I loved every single moment of it!<\/p>\n

I love Wolf and Dylan together so much! Their big, loud personalities work so well together, and they are so entertaining together. Funny, bold, confident and almost larger-than-life, everything between them is strong and intense, and it\u2019s a joy to watch as they fall hard for each other.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love big. We fight hard. And we just work. I\u2019m not certain about a lot of things in this life, but I\u2019m certain about you. About us.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But neither of them ever planned on feelings, and when life throws them a curveball, they\u2019ll have to trust each other like never before to get their happy ending.<\/p>\n

This is such a gorgeous story. It\u2019s fun, sexy, full of snark and fantastic banter, and a gorgeous love story that develops beautifully and naturally. Of course, Dylan\u2019s sisters and their partners are all a bit part of the action, and Wolf\u2019s family make a surprising and very welcome addition to the story. There are moments in this book that had me laughing out loud watching Dylan be Dylan around a whole new bunch of people. So much fun!<\/p>\n

There\u2019s an epilogue which finishes the story beautifully, and a bonus chapter available which provides great closure for all of the Thomas sisters. I\u2019m so grateful that we\u2019re getting a spin-off series featuring the girls\u2019 cousins, so we\u2019ll get to see a bit more of this crew yet. I\u2019ve loved this series and am not quite ready to let it go just yet.<\/p>\n
