Before spoilers for the first book in the series \u2013 If We Ever Meet Again<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n

The second book in the If Love<\/i> series, and the final part of Blake and Farrah\u2019s duet, this book picks up five years after the first, and we reconnect with Blake and Farrah five years after he shattered her heart and they parted ways in Shanghai.<\/p>\n

Now a qualified interior designer, Farrah finds herself unexpectedly freelancing and is desperate for a job when she rocks up for an interview to find that her new client is none other than hugely successful owner of a sports bar empire and now-millionaire, Blake. After he presents her with an offer she can\u2019t refuse, the two ex-lovers soon find themselves working side-by-side, and all kinds of emotions are resurfacing.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s SO much between Blake and Farrah! So much hurt, guilt and heartbreak, but underneath all of that is love and a still-strong connection. They can still banter and laugh together, they still share so many shared desires, and their relationship in the past is still a huge part of who they are today These two were each other\u2019s first loves, and neither of them have been able to properly move on. But while Blake immediately wants all-in with Farrah, she finds herself unable to trust the man that walked away from her so easily before, and she understandably wants to keep her distance. But that doesn\u2019t mean they can\u2019t act on their wild passion for each other\u2026 she\u2019ll just keep her heart out of it.<\/p>\n

We all know how that story usually goes, and with Blake thrilled to have Farrah back in his life and Farrah falling for him all over again, it seems they\u2019re set for an idyllic reunion. But Blake is still wrestling with his past \u2013 a past he\u2019s still keeping a secret from Farrah (for some unknown reason), and there is even more drama coming which throws things into a tailspin once again.<\/p>\n

The twist was predictable, but Blake\u2019s reaction to it was not. The angst was completely unnecessary, and I wasn\u2019t happy with the way he handled things, and wanted to slap some sense into him so hard. But the man certainly knows how to grovel, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him work so hard to prove himself to Farrah once again.<\/p>\n

Though it\u2019s a hard fought for happy ending, I did enjoy seeing these two come together in the way they were always supposed to be, and the book finishes off with an epilogue which provides great closure, and paves the way for stories to come for some of their friends.<\/p>\n
