Accidental Attachment<\/i> is a laugh-out-loud, sweet, swoony, sexy read that catches your attention from the first page and keeps it until the last. I was invested in Brooke and Chase from the moment I met them and I couldn\u2019t wait to see how their love story played out.<\/p>\n

Brooke has a mega crush on her editor, Chase, and has written a pretend love story featuring both him and her titled Accidental Attachment<\/i>. It\u2019s for her eyes only though so she doesn\u2019t hold back and includes all of her fantasies. When she goes to send Chase the manuscript for her next book, she accidentally sends him the wrong story and he reads Accidental Attachment<\/i>, and he loves it! Hoping it\u2019s the next best seller, he can\u2019t wait to edit it with Brooke, only it wasn\u2019t ever meant to be seen. Now, Brooke and Chase are forced together on a road trip across the US to promote her popular series while editing the book, and what follows is a hilarious romance.<\/p>\n

Brooke is a hoot from the moment we meet her and I loved her immediately. She has a condition that requires having a service dog and their bond is fantastic. She loves Benji and he is there for her when she needs him for medical reasons but he also is a friend, and they are so cute together. Brooke\u2019s crush is just that and she never could imagine it becoming more, but she also isn\u2019t expecting to spend weeks on end with Chase either and the more time they spend together, the closer they grow.<\/p>\n

Chase is so dreamy. He\u2019s a gentleman, a sweetheart, and thinks of everything he can do to help Brooke become the best author she can be. He helps guide her their road trip and helps her when she gets overwhelmed. He is so swoony with her and they share so many laughs that I loved watching their friendship grow. It felt real and organic and just worked. And all the while they were falling hard!<\/p>\n

I believed their feelings but it took a while for them to truly be revealed and I loved the journey they go on. They find the real thing because they can be themselves with each other and they are genuine. There is a major bump in the road that creates some problems for these two but the author doesn\u2019t leave us heartbroken for long. \u2028\u2028And, I have to add that I loved the secondary characters and I loved that we got to read snip-its of Brooke’s story within the story.<\/p>\n

Overall, it is a fun, sweet read that brings on the heat and gives you the warm fuzzies. I adored Brooke and Chase separately and I enjoyed them immensely together. I still have a smile on my face after turning the last page. I am hoping to get more soon, and maybe have a story featuring Brooke\u2019s sister.<\/p>\n
