The fourth book in the Landmark Mountain<\/i> series, this is a beautifully romantic grumpy\/sunshine, (not-so-forced) close proximity romance that is sweet, sexy and swoony with all the feels. Callum and Ruby\u2019s story absolutely stole my heart, and I loved this book so much!<\/p>\n

Callum is the quiet member of the Landmark family. A dairy farmer with a soft spot for his animals, he does have grumpy loner tendencies but he\u2019s a sweet man with a heart of gold, he just prefers to keep to himself.<\/p>\n

Ruby is on the run from a disastrous near-miss wedding, and she\u2019s escaping to the small town of Landmark Mountain when she runs into trouble. It\u2019s Callum that comes to her rescue, and being the big-hearted guy that he is, he gives her a place to stay in the middle of a snowstorm, having no idea just how significantly she is about to upend his life.<\/p>\n

OMG, the chemistry between these two is sizzling! Their attraction is strong from the beginning, but they keep their distance, staying friendly, caring for their animals, and getting to know each other in a way they haven\u2019t opened up to anybody else in years. The grow comfortable with each other, and as they settle in together, they can\u2019t hide their growing attraction.<\/p>\n

He sets the mug down and has a ring of whipped cream over his top lip.
\nI don\u2019t know what comes over me.
\nHe just looks so unbelievably cute.
\nI lean over and wipe the whipped cream off with my thumb and then lick it clean. His eyes dilate, his tongue coming out to swipe over his lips.
\n\u201cI just forget everything thought I\u2019ve ever had,\u201d he says gruffly.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The emotion is beautiful, and their coming together is fun, sexy and sweet. They are so open and honest with each other about everything, and we get to see a vulnerability to Callum that is completely irresistible. I loved seeing them come together!<\/p>\n

They fall hard, fast, and completely, and I was swept up in a world of swoon. They hold nothing back and dive on in with hearts wide open, and OMG, it\u2019s so, so beautiful!<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it comes to you, I think the only thing that could scare me is if you weren\u2019t feeling the same way as I am, which is something so fucking big, I can\u2019t put it into words.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There are some surprises in store with these two, and I was right there with them through all of it, loving every moment. There is some drama, but it\u2019s realistic to their situation and works to show the strength of their connection while bringing some intensity to the story.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m feeling is unlike anything I\u2019ve ever felt before. It might be crazy, but if it is, I want to fall back into it and let it carry me away.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Callum\u2019s family are a big part of the story. I loved seeing them again, and loved watching them welcome Ruby into the fold, while they all eagerly watch the relationship with great interest and lots of teasing. It\u2019s so entertaining seeing them all together, and I\u2019m loving this series so much.<\/p>\n

Such a beautiful, emotional love story, I adored every moment.<\/p>\n
