The third book in the Whitlock Family<\/i> series, this is the most amazing enemies-to-lovers romance! Full of chemistry and epic banter, it\u2019s fun, heartfelt and wildly sexy with a gorgeous love story, and I loved every moment of it!<\/p>\n

Rowan and Charlotte\u2019s hatred of each of has been glimpsed in previous books of the series. They run neighbouring dairy farms, and have hated each other for years (mostly due to Rowan\u2019s murky history with Charlotte\u2019s sister), but their friends are friends and they end up on the same weekend away to a cabin in the woods. When Rowan comes to Charlotte\u2019s rescue after a hiking accident, they end up isolated in a mountain shelter, and sparks fly!<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI didn\u2019t say I didn\u2019t.\u201d
\n\u201cI hate you.\u201d
\n\u201cGood. Then we\u2019re both in agreement that this is a hate fuck and nothing else.\u201d
\nI can get with that. Anger and sex work just fine for me. \u201cAnd tomorrow this never happened?\u201d
\nHe laughs once. \u201cOh, sweetheart, don\u2019t you worry, I\u2019ll never breathe a word about what happens here.\u201d

These two have such a fun dynamic. There is genuine animosity between them and their bickering is so entertaining, but they can\u2019t deny there is a twisted attraction as well. The sex is off the charts hot, and after days holed up together, they\u2019re not quite ready to let it go, so their super secret, no-strings sexfest continues once they return home.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no surprise where the story goes from here, but watching everything change between Rowan and Charlotte is an absolutely beautiful journey. It\u2019s funny, sweet and heartfelt, and I loved watching them start to soften towards each other, actually get to know each other, and open up and let the feels in. Neither of them particularly wants to be in a relationship with the other, but they can\u2019t resist the pull \u2013 both sexual and emotional – and their slow fall had me feeling all the feels.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could fall for you if I let myself.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Is there anything better than watching a relationship-phobe fall utterly and completely in love? *dreamy sigh* Rowan is amazing as a completely smitten man \u2013 initially reluctant, but eventually letting go and just embracing it – and the way he fights for his girl had me swooning madly.<\/p>\n

Charlotte Sullivan, the girl I\u2019ve spent years despising, wanting to destroy, wishing would disappear from my life because she drove me crazy, is now everything to me. <\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never felt this way, Charlotte,\u201d I confess, moving toward her. \u201cI\u2019ve never wanted anyone the way I want you.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They have challenges to overcome and there is a little bit of drama as they work through it all, but it makes sense to their situation, fits with their character development, and it\u2019s pretty much angst-free, and I loved watching them figure it all out.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will fight the world and ruin myself in the process to make sure nothing hurts you.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The rest of the Whitlock family are all there supporting and teasing their brother through it all, and there are hints for the next book of the series for little sister, Brynlee. I\u2019m loving this series, and loved this book so much. Such a gorgeous read.<\/p>\n
