Once upon a time a 16yo Ari threw herself at her best friend\u2019s brother, Dash. After being turned down, Dash left for Hollywood. It\u2019s been eight years and Ari\u2019s tried to avoid him when he\u2019s come into town but now Dash is back for a month and avoiding him isn\u2019t a possibility.<\/p>\n

Dash\u2019s career took off when he landed the lead role in Malibu Splash but now he\u2019s ready for something more serious and meaningful but he just isn\u2019t getting the roles. When he\u2019s told he has to dig deep and really show emotion to get those parts, he heads home to get away and spend time with his family. Throw Ari into the mix and what follows is a sweet, swoony romance where the Hollywood heartthrob falls for the small town girl.<\/p>\n

When they run into each other, it\u2019s obvious that Ari and Dash are attracted to each other but Ari is still hurt about the past and Dash isn\u2019t willing to open up. After catching up, they both realize that maybe they can help each other. While Ari tries to help dash understand emotion, he can help taste test her new recipes. They end up falling into a routine where they are spending so much time together that they can\u2019t help but bring up the past and the feelings that never really ended.<\/p>\n

There were reasons they couldn\u2019t be together as teens but now they are adults and the pull these two feel is undeniable, even if being together wouldn\u2019t be easily accepted because she is still the little sister of his best friend. The sexual tension is palpable and though they don\u2019t think it\u2019s a good idea they can\u2019t seem to stop thinking about each other. One taste is all it takes and these two fall hard and fast. I loved how they found time to spend time together without the family knowing. \u00a0I loved how supportive Dash is with Ari and his belief in her and wanting to push her to her full potential doing the things she loves. And Ari pushed Dash to feel more and supported his dreams, never giving up on him.<\/p>\n

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Dash and Ari\u2019s love story. It was just what I needed after meeting Dash in previous books.<\/p>\n
