A fun, sexy and beautifully emotional romance with fantastic characters and fabulous tropes that had me sucked in from start to finish.

✔️ Billionaire
✔️ Brother’s-best-friend
✔️ Age-gap
✔️ Single dad
✔️ Nanny

This is the second book in the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series, but note that our hero, Owen Fritz is the second-generation of a huge family dynasty of doctors and rockstars from Saman’s earlier series. I haven’t quite wrapped my head around how it all fits together yet, but I’m desperate to dive in and discover. But you can read this one as a standalone.

Owen and Estlin meet in a bar and share a wildly steamy night together before going their separate ways. So, imagine the awkwardness when she rocks up at his house the next day as the new nanny to Owen’s six year old daughter.

I can’t have her be Rory’s nanny. I can’t have her live in my house. I can’t pretend like I didn’t spend all last night fucking her into multiple orgasms … I said things to her. Dirty things. And I did those dirty things too. I told her I’d make her sore today and fuck me for wondering if I succeeded.

It turns out that Estlin is the little sister of Owen’s best friend. She is an artist who has spent the last few years living in France and England. She’s still recovering from a brutal betrayal and a gutwrenching breakup which left her shattered, but she’s home now and determined to pick herself up and move on, starting with a new job. Owen is a paediatric surgeon and desperate for help coping with the many demands on his life, so when his best friend suggested his little sister as a nanny, he agreed. And for the sake of his little girl, who loves Estlin instantly, they agree to move on and be professional, and pretend they never even met.

He licks his lips, his gaze hot and locked on mine. “You really want this job?”
I stare straight back up at him. “I really want this job. You notwithstanding.”
“I don’t like this.”
“Get over it.”
His eyebrows hit his hairline, and an incredulous chuckle bursts from his chest. “Get over it?”
I shrug. “I mean, I realize I’m incredible in bed, but yeah. Get over it. You were just okay, by the way, in case you were curious.”
His lips twitch, and he shakes his head.

Even after their one night together, Owen knew that he wanted more with Estlin, and now she’s moving into his house, caring for his daughter, and it’s driving him crazy. The sexual tension is insane, with both of them trying to ignore the fact that they want a repeat, and even worse – they’re spending time together, getting to know each other, flirting, teasing, and starting to fall for each other, and though they know they can’t go there, they hide nothing from each other.

“My sweet thing, I need you. I crave you. I am consumed with you. You must already know that as I’ve done little to hide it.”

The build-up is fantastic, and I loved watching these two dance around each other in their attempts to ignore the inevitable. Not only because of the ‘forbidden’ nature of their relationship, but they’ve both been burned in previous relationships and they’re wary of getting hurt again. But, of course, the temptation becomes impossible to resist, they give in to it, and holy freaking hotness, they are on fire together! (This is a seriously steamy read). And more than that, there’s a strong emotional connection between them which brings the romance, and God, I love them together!

Estlin is a fabulous heroine – strong, confident, and bravely reclaiming her life while opening her heart to Owen and little Rory. And Owen completely stole my heart. He is sweet, caring and protective, and the way he is there for his girls is just gorgeous. I love how they love each other, and their beautifully heartfelt romance completely consumed me.

It’s not an even playing field between us. I can’t promise it’ll ever be. I can’t fathom a time will ever come when I won’t worship at your feet. When I won’t feel a million miles beneath you and nowhere ever deserving enough.

Little Rory is a delight, and her relationships and the moments between her and both Estlin and her Dad are just adorable. There’s a great bunch of side characters – some new, mostly from Saman’s other series and the first book in this series, and I enjoyed them and the fantastically entertaining dynamics.

This is a gorgeous read full of fun, drama and heat. There are ups and downs, and some pretty big challenges for them to face, and I loved watching it all unfold. There is angst and drama – mostly outside of the love story – and I loved watching these two navigate their way forward and get their HEA.

I loved this one – 4.5 stars!

An Advanced Review Copy was generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Boston’s Irresistible
