HOLY HELL! THAT WAS AWESOME!<\/b><\/p>\n

I just finished this book and my heart is pounding! In terror, in happiness, in shock! It\u2019s all happening in EIT-land!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re back in Perry POV, which I love! Because as much as I love Dex, I have missed Perry in all of her sarcastic awesomeness, she is a fantastic narrator, and I feel like she’s really grown up a lot since the beginning of the series. She’s confident and more comfortable with herself and her life, and I just love her.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerry Palomino, ghost magnet. I was like the highly sought after call girl of the supernatural. A whore for the unhappily deceased.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This book starts two months after the ending of Come Alive<\/a> and finds Dex and Perry blissfully happy and in love, and it\u2019s a truly beautiful thing! They are together, they are secure, they are passionate as all hell, and so freaking swoony.<\/p>\n

All it took was to see him, to hear those words that I was his, and I was falling in love, so hard and so fast all over again.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m your fucking man, baby. That\u2019s all there is to it, I\u2019m your fucking man. That is never going to change.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Their new assignment for Experiment in Terror<\/i> has them investigating a school for artistically gifted students. The school is haunted by the evils of the past when it functioned as a sanatorium for children dying of tuberculosis. And let me tell you, Karina Halle takes the freak-out factor to a whole new level in this one. With ghosty children and bad things on the loose, this book scared the shit out of me, I kid you not! I was home alone, reading at night, and my heart was pounding so hard. I think I was actually whimpering at one point.<\/p>\n

Thank God all is well in Derry-land so that we get some happy time, and a much needed break from all of the crazy. The romance is absolutely phenomenal! Having overcome so much to be together, Dex and Perry are committed and happy, with lots of PDA, talk of love and swoony declarations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we have \u2013 it consumes me. It devours me. And it scares me more than anything we have ever encountered, because if I ever lost you, if I ever had to live without you, I wouldn\u2019t be whole. You, Perry, have my heart. You are my heart.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And the sexy time is absolutely steaming! Damn, my Dex has some incredible moves! Perry is a lucky, lucky girl!<\/p>\n

Long story short \u2013 the sixty-nine position doesn\u2019t work. You both get too turned on to keep going. It\u2019s a beautiful failure.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And, of course, Dex continues to shine. He remains at his sexy, nasty best, and his commentary had me laughing out loud so many times!<\/p>\n

He made a face. \u201cSoy milk. Ugh. Tastes like jizz.\u201d
\nI gave him a curious look. \u201cAnd how do you know that?\u201d
\n\u201cI have bad aim sometimes\u201d <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Amidst all of the spooky stuff and romance there are some massive bombs dropped! Dex, Perry and Rebecca are all facing huge changes, Pippa is back with ominous warnings, a family secret is revealed, and a blast from the past makes their presence known. And it all ends with a massive moment of epicness (which had me squeeing out loud – and I even shed a tear) before a WTF moment that had me screaming \u2018YOU CAN\u2019T FINISH IT LIKE THAT!!!!\u2019.<\/p>\n

Holy effing duckspunk, Karina, you have totally delivered once again! This book has everything, and I cannot WAIT for the final instalment in this epic, epic series!<\/p>\n
