Jane is trying to get her matchmaking business to take off when she runs into Jasper, the star quarterback. After he tries to get Jane to go on a date with him but is shot down, he signs up for her dating service just to annoy her. She is determined to make Cupid\u2019s Arrow successful so she figures having a hot football player can\u2019t hurt. However, when she starts to fall for the guy she\u2019s supposed to find a match for, things get a bit complicated.<\/p>\n

The Darling<\/i> series is back with My Darling Jane and it is a fun, sweet, feel good sports romantic comedy. Jane is a single mom, working hard to be the best parent she can be. She desperately wants her dating service to work but she\u2019s had some trouble finding dates for her clients. She sets Jasper up on some dates but no one seems to work for him and she doesn\u2019t know why. He does though. He is interested in Jane and won\u2019t stop until she seems there is something between them.<\/p>\n

Jane and Jasper are so fun together. The banter is hilarious and I love their interactions. I believed their chemistry and loved how their relationship turns up the heat, yet it\u2019s so much more than that. I enjoy the single mom trope and I loved how Jane put her daughter first even when it hurt her. I loved that Jasper was there by her side and gave her the space and patience she needed but still let her know he wanted her. I also loved that Jasper fell first because so many other books are the opposite.<\/p>\n

Overall, these two were great together. My Darling Jane<\/i> was an entertaining addition to the series and I can\u2019t wait for more.<\/p>\n
