Perfect. This book is perfect. I absolutely loved everything about Dark Sexy Knight<\/em>. It is a gorgeous romance that steals your heart and leaves you breathless; a romance that proves true love does exist and it can turn anyone\u2019s life into a fairytale. Katy Regnery’s writing draws you in from the start and never lets you go. Her words are beautiful and captivating. She creates stories that affect you so completely that you find your heart beating wildly, your breath uneven, and tears in your eyes, leaving you with a book hangover for days. This is exactly how I felt after reading Dark Sexy Knight and it is definitely a new favorite for 2016.<\/p>\n

Verity Gwynn is a beautiful, kind, wonderful woman who has been watching after her special-needs brother, Ryan, since their parents passed away. She has had a hard life, trying her best to make ends meet, and her bad luck just keeps getting worse. She desperately needs to find a job for herself and her brother, and somehow, Colton is in the right place and the right time.<\/p>\n

Colton is sexy, kind, strong, and hardworking. He has a troubled past and considers himself a loner, but from the first time her sees Verity, he is driven to help her and her brother and he has no idea why. Colton comes to her rescue numerous times in one day and it seems that maybe Verity\u2019s luck may be changing.<\/p>\n

From the very first encounter, there is an intense spark between Verity and Colton. As they spend time together, they form a friendship that is beautiful and real, kind and trustworthy. The sexual tension builds to unsurpassable heights and when it finally explodes, it is passionate and completely believable. Though their connection is strong and their love is fierce, outside forces have a way of planting seeds of doubt that Verity and Colton have to overcome if they want to have a future together.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuddenly, for the first time in my life, I had good luck. No. I had the best luck. I had you. And it was like all those tough knocks were worthwhile because you were the prize. I had to have all that bad luck so the scales would be cosmically balanced when you came along.\u201d

I loved Verity and Colton both individually and as a pair. I loved Verity\u2019s strength, kindness, and love. She was hardworking and so protective of her brother. I loved the way she took care of him. My heart broke for her over all the things she went through and the bad luck she had in her life. I loved her sense of humor and her wonder of all things around her, and I thought she was a breath of fresh air. I also loved that she didn\u2019t shy away from her feelings and didn\u2019t question them.<\/p>\n

You were meant for me. And I was meant for you. And I will never <\/i>let you go.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved Colton from the very beginning. He had a huge heart and was such a sweet man. I hated that he felt undeserving of Verity, and that he was so hard on himself. Though he had some trouble in the past, it all stemmed from his love and need to protect. He was a genuinely good guy even though he didn\u2019t see it. I loved that he acknowledged his flaws and that he wasn\u2019t perfect. He was wonderful for Verity and he melted my heart on so many occasions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am <\/i>totally in love with you, sunshine. And I need you just as badly as you need me. You\u2019re sunshine and laughter. You\u2019re patience and understanding. You give your whole heart and only ask for mine in return. You have it. You have all of it, baby. You\u2019re the <\/i>luckiest thing that has ever happened to me. <\/i>You are my sweet place, Verity Gwynn, and the <\/i>only way you\u2019re losing me is if <\/i>you walk away because I\u2019m not going anywhere. Ever.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved Verity and Colton together. They complemented each other perfectly. Her sunshine brightened his world and kept away the loneliness he had grown accustomed to. I loved that they didn\u2019t fight their feelings but also that they didn\u2019t just jump into a relationship immediately because of their attraction. I loved watching their new love flourish and found myself smiling and giddy at almost every interaction while they found their \u201csweet place\u201d together.<\/p>\n

I will love you until I breathe my last breath.
\nAnd then I will love you through eternity.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There was enough angst in this book that had me flipping pages, eager to see how things played out, but none of it was stupid drama between the characters. I liked that when instances occurred that could have possibly caused problems, they were brought up quickly and there was no game playing. It was wonderful how open they were with each other and how they were willing to talk through things that were on their minds.<\/p>\n

This book is not only about the love story. I loved the relationship between Verity and Ryan and how loyal and supportive she was. She loved him so much and would do anything for him. I also loved the scenes with Melody. Colton was so committed to Melody and would do anything to keep his promise to her even if it put his life on hold or sacrificed his happiness. I also adored the scenes with Ryan and Melody. The epilogue was perfect and left me with a huge smile on my face. Overall, this was a fantastic read that will stay with me for years to come.<\/p>\n
