This is book 2 in the Pucked<\/i> series and is just as outrageously rude, crude and hilarious as the first book! Hugely fun and entertaining with a sweet love story, I really enjoyed it.<\/p>\n

Miller \u2018Buck\u2019 Butterson is the step-brother of Violet from the first book, where he was introduced as a manwhoring yeti with a violently protective side, but with a huge heart. Sunshine Waters is Alex\u2019s younger sister, a sweet, hippy-ish type who lives with her family in Canada, and who is completely different from every other woman that Miller has proudly nailed. These two are complete opposites but they are wildly attracted to each other, and I loved watching them move from that simple attraction to completely falling for each other.<\/p>\n

The book is written entirely from Miller\u2019s POV as he navigates his first real relationship in the shadow of his manwhoring history, scarily persistent puck bunnies, a series of unfortunate (and hilarious) incidents, and constantly misinterpreted social media. And as much as I laughed out loud at his antics and his crude, profanity-laden inner monologue, I felt so bad for him. He kept getting himself into these situations through no fault of his own, and then was constantly scrambling to deal with the fallout. Miller\u2019s heart is totally in the right place, but was forced to continually defend himself and prove over and over again that he wants Sunny, and that he\u2019s in it for the long haul.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m here because I want to be with you, and no other reason.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sunny is a great contrast to him \u2013 a sweet, genuine, somewhat innocent and spotlight-avoiding girl who is trying to get used to being with a man like Miller. She did annoy me at times\u2026

<\/span>Spoiler<\/div>
always so quick to judge what Miller was up to, and with some very questionable behaviour of her own \u2013 the campervan trip with her ex boyfriend? WTF?! <\/div><\/div> \u2026but with the story told in Miller\u2019s POV, it allows us to see his sweet and tender side as he uses a gentle touch with her, treating her as something precious to him and trying his best to make her feel comfortable.<\/p>\n

But always with that edge that is all ridiculous, sex-crazed male.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing the provider of the first big \u201cO\u201d gives me some power. It elevates my status. I\u2019m the White Knight in the land of Orgasmia, wielding my magical sword of awesome.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This book is SO freaking funny! Again, most of it is juvenile smut humour, but that is right up my alley so I loved it and laughed out loud SO many times. I listened to this an audiobook, and couldn\u2019t stop listening, and I was listening in the bathroom when I suddenly burst out laughing so hard that I actually snorted. In a public bathroom. At work. Serves me right I guess, I should have known.<\/p>\n

And as if Miller\u2019s pre-pubescent-teen humour isn\u2019t enough, Violet is also a big part of the story and is still completely filterless and outrageously funny. She is totally in Miller\u2019s corner, providing romantic advice and helping him along in her own special way, and I loved that their relationship was explored in more detail. It was really gorgeous, and definitely a highlight of the book for me.<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed this book. It\u2019s laugh-out-loud funny but still with a lot of heart, a sweet (and hot) romance and some really great character development. I loved getting to see the different sides to Miller, he\u2019s so much more than what people think he is, and his kind-hearted, generous nature really comes through in this book. Such an unlikely romantic hero, but an absolute sweetheart.<\/p>\n
