I LOVE THIS BOOK! So, so good!
\n<\/strong>
\nThis was such a great read! I loved the first book in this series –\u00a0The Deal\u00a0\u2013 and was so happy that this book was just as good! Smart, funny and romantic, and so entertaining, I absolutely loved it!<\/p>\n

John Logan is the manwhoring best friend of Garrett from the first book. He\u2019s confident and cocky, but his carefree bravado is hiding his secret emotional turmoil \u2013 firstly that he believes himself to be in love with his best friend\u2019s girl, and secondly that he is facing a dead-end future that he doesn\u2019t want, leaving him unable to pursue his dreams of playing professional hockey after college.<\/p>\n

Grace is a freshman and an absolute sweetheart. Smart and funny, she is adorably shy and has a tendency to babble when she gets nervous. She is rooming with her best friend from high school, who has a tendency to walk all over her, but she is aching to branch out, meet new people and really experience life.<\/p>\n

Logan\u2019s reputation as a manwhore is well known across campus, and of course Grace knows who he is. And when they meet unexpectedly, they are both surprised by the natural friendship that develops between them. They enjoy each other\u2019s company and have fun together, and beneath that, there is an underlying chemistry which neither of them can ignore.<\/p>\n

He lightly strokes my cheekbone and I have to stop myself from purring like an affection-starved cat. \u201cWhat are you doing?\u201d I whisper.
\n\u201cWell, you were looking at me like you wanted me to kiss you.\u201d His blue eyes become heavy-lidded. \u201cSo I was thinking I might do that.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is a genuine affection between them, and though romantically things between them may be a tad unconventional to begin with, I loved the way it all progressed (Logan\u2019s moment where he comes to Grace\u2019s rescue from bitchy college girls actually had me squeeing out loud). But Logan is confused by his feelings and ends up making a big mistake which ruins everything and leaves Grace devastated.<\/p>\n

Summer break proves to be an eye opener for both of them. Grace has worked hard to move on and returns to school tougher and stronger and determined to make a fresh start. But Logan has been unable to forget Grace, and he comes back to school determined to win her back.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fucked up, but I promise I\u2019ll make it up to you. I don\u2019t want anyone else. All I want is another chance.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Logan\u2019s commitment to Grace is so gorgeous! She is understandably angry and distrustful of him, and she puts him through the wringer making him prove himself, and I love the way Logan shows that he\u2019s more than up for the challenge, putting himself out there and doing everything he can to win back her trust \u2013 in the way only Logan can.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like you, Grace.\u201d
\n\u201cWhy?\u201d I challenge. \u201cWhy do you like me?\u201d
\n\u201cBecause\u2026\u201d He drags s hand through his dark hair. \u201cYou\u2019re fun to be around. You\u2019re smart. Sweet. You make me laugh. Oh, and just the sight of you gets me hard.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is such a fun read! Logan and Grace\u2019s romance is funny, sexy and gorgeously romantic. Their dynamic is fantastic and I loved watching their story unfold. And when they finally get on the same page, OMG, the romance is gorgeous!<\/p>\n

\u201cI need you. I can\u2019t stand the thought of being without you.\u201d He releases a shaky breath. \u201cYou\u2019re the last person I think about before I go to sleep, and the first person I think about when I open my eyes in the morning. You\u2019re it for me, baby.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And I love the way that their friends became such a big part of the story. Of course I loved catching up with Garrett and Hannah, and seeing Dean and Tucker again, but the surprising scene stealer for me was Morris \u2013 he\u2019s freaking hilarious, and his bromance with Logan was sensational!<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish I was gay,\u201d he says ruefully.
\nA snicker pops out. \u201cUh-huh. Go on. I\u2019m willing to follow you down this rabbit hole and see where it leads.\u201d
\n\u201cSeriously, Gretch, I love him. I have a boner for him.\u201d Morris sighs. \u201cIf I\u2019d known he existed, I wouldn\u2019t have asked you out in the first place.\u201d
\n\u201cGee, thanks.\u201d
\n\u201cOh, shut up. You\u2019re awesome, and I\u2019d tap that in a second. But I can\u2019t compete with this guy. He\u2019s operating on a whole other level when it comes to you.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is some drama, but it doesn\u2019t overwhelm the story, and it\u2019s all wrapped up beautifully with a happy ending, and even an epilogue!<\/p>\n

I loved this book. The characters are all incredible, the dynamics are fantastic, and the mix of humour and sexy romance set against the college life is so entertaining. I can\u2019t wait to get my hands on more from this series.<\/p>\n
