4.5 \u2018falling in love\u2019 stars.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a gorgeous little NA read. The story of a deeply traumatised girl finally making the move to break free from her past, and the incredible boy that helps her do that while they fall and fall hard for each other. Admittedly, it\u2019s not the most original of storylines, but Rowe and Nate\u2019s story is beautifully told with lots of banter, wit, and a heart-clenching romance. I loved it!<\/p>\n

Two years ago Rowe endured a tragedy which left her emotionally scarred and terrified of the world. She has retreated from everything but her very loving and supportive family, and has been home schooled by her mother, but she is now starting College and in an effort to move on with her life she has decided to move across the country to try and branch out on her own and start living again.<\/p>\n

My dad smiled and looked at my mother, both of them breathing deeply, ready to take this step. I wasn\u2019t. I\u2019m still not. I\u2019m not even remotely close to ready. But I want to be. I\u2019m desperate to be ready. I\u2019ve spent the last seven hundred days of my life seeing everyone else live from my self-imposed bubble. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved Rowe, and really admired her. What she has been through is heartbreaking, but the way she pulled herself out of it and pushed forward, determined to go on with her life and experience new things was amazing.<\/p>\n

And helping her along the way is the INCREDIBLE Nate Preeter. Baseball star, sweetheart and all-round good guy, the boy is pure perfection! Living in a room down the hall from Rowe with his equally fabulous brother, Ty, Nate is absolutely gorgeous, and is smitten with quietly shy Rowe from the moment he sees her. And their relationship is gold! They have fun together, they prank and laugh at each other, and so many of their little moments become private jokes that add so much to their developing relationship. Nate can see that Rowe is struggling with something from her past, and he makes it his mission to be there for her, and he is right there by her side as she slowly comes back to life.<\/p>\n

She starts spinning slowly in a circle, laughing. And then it\u2019s there – <\/i>the smile. The same look she had on her face in that picture. It\u2019s joy. And I just gave it to her.
\nMy god, do I want to give it to her again.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nate\u2019s dedication to Rowe and his commitment to her is absolutely gorgeous! He doesn\u2019t shy away from his emotions or from sharing how he feels, and every page just made me fall more and more in love with him. A friend of mine said it in her review, and I absolutely agree with her \u2013 every girl needs a Nate in her life!!<\/p>\n

I am willing to wait for whatever pieces she\u2019s willing to give. And if I have to help her make each piece whole first, then so be it.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And I was really proud of Rowe. So many times in books like these, the heroine pushes the hero away, not feeling ready a relationship. But here we have Rowe, desperate for something special and brave enough to take Nate\u2019s hand and let him help her find it.<\/p>\n

The truth is I want all of him, the parts I\u2019m afraid to ask for, and the parts I\u2019m afraid will break me. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course they have those moments where things get into a bit of a \u201cfussy fuss<\/i>\u201d, but they are right there for each other, opening up with total honestly and making it right, and it\u2019s all beautifully swoony.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is….falling.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The story moves at a great pace, and was beautifully told. It was so funny, and the drama was handled really well \u2013 it was there, but didn\u2019t overtake the story at any point, and that can be a very delicate balance. It made me laugh, squee and swoon, and I even teared up a little bit, and then there was the ending which was just a little bit epic and left me sighing happily.<\/p>\n

This was my first book by Ginger Scott, and I\u2019m looking forward not only to further books in this series \u2013 Ty and Cass\u2026 and hopefully Tucker at some stage \u2013 but I\u2019m excited to check out more of her work. She has a great writing style that completely sucked me in and made me feel, yet it was also a really easy read, and I love that!<\/p>\n
