I loved Sugar Daddy<\/a>, and after that heart-wrenching cliffy, I have been desperate to get my hands on this book! Of course now I have another cliffy to sit on which is just as, if not more, brutal. But it was so, so worth it!!<\/p>\n

This book picks up right where Sugar Daddy<\/i> left off, and thank God the cliffy resolution is fast, beautifully emotional and oh-so satisfying! Sela and Beck have a lot they need to work though, and the beginning of this book shows them doing that as Sela finally opens up to Beck about her tragic past and the vengeance that she craves that initially brought her into his life.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t treat me like I\u2019m breakable. I couldn\u2019t stand it if you did that to me. I need you to show me that you believe I\u2019m strong and beautiful, and as tough as bricks. If you don\u2019t believe that about me, I won\u2019t believe it about myself.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She has come a long way since then, and she and Beck have found something incredibly special together that has changed the both of them, and I loved seeing them explore that and revel in the passion and happiness that they have found.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fell hard for you, Sela. I\u2019m committed to<\/em> you and <\/i>our future.\u201d
\n\u201cSo this is love?\u201d I whisper hoarsely as I stare into his beautiful eyes.
\n\u201cI do believe it is,\u201d he tells me with a grin.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But of course, Sela still wants payback. And now, Beck does too, in fact he\u2019s desperate to protect and defend the woman he has come to love so much. So amidst their blissful love-fest, they devise a plot to bring down J.T. But what lengths are they prepared to go to in order to get vengeance?<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed this book. It\u2019s a very quick read, but fast paced with lots of intensity. There is some great development for Sela and Beck as a couple, and their plotting and all of the build-up leading to its implementation add a great sense of excitement to the story. I also liked the introduction of Dennis, and I\u2019m hoping he\u2019ll play a big part in the next book and that we get to see a well-deserved happy ending for him.<\/p>\n

And then that ending\u2026 damn! Left hanging once again, after a twist that had me screaming out \u2018what the eff are you doing?\u2019 (thankfully I was reading alone). It creates some great drama though as their plans play out and even more secrets are revealed, I can\u2019t wait to see where the story is going to go from here.<\/p>\n

I loved it \u2013 4 stars.<\/p>\n
