Book 2 in Melanie Harlow\u2019s Happy Crazy Love<\/i><\/a> series brings us the story of youngest Nixon sister, Natalie. Natalie is only 25, but she is a hard worker and her life is pretty much exactly where she wants it to be. She runs her own successful bakery, she\u2019s just bought her own home and she\u2019s been in a relationship for 10 years with plans to get engaged. Her relationship is safe and comfortable, but it\u2019s not the intense and passionate love that she recognises her sister Skylar has found with her fianc\u00e9, Sebastian. But it\u2019s enough\u2026 right?<\/p>\n

And then Miles Haas comes back to town. Natalie and Miles grew up spending their summers together when Miles\u2019 family would come to their holiday house. Born troublemakers, they were the best of friends and have stayed in touch even after they grew up and their summers together became a thing of the past. Miles is a successful writer and blogger, writing about all things sex and dolling out advice to hapless males everywhere. He\u2019s cocky and confident with a wicked sense of humour, and I loved him immediately!<\/p>\n

I\u2019d told her I was up there researching sex in haunted place, and that was true enough. But the only ghost in my head was her.

There\u2019s a great chemistry between Natalie and Miles, their friendship is fun and easy with a touch of flirtiness about it, and when her relationship implodes, she turns to the one man that\u2019s always been there for her. And dayum, are they hot! Miles has always wanted Natalie, and with her desperate to shake off the old and branch out and have some fun for once, he is more than happy to be the one to help her on her way.<\/p>\n

Melanie Harlow writes awesome smut, and OMG this book is seriously freaking hot! Both Natalie and Miles are dirty talkers, and Miles\u2019 sexpertise is proven over and over again as he introduces Natalie to a whole new world of fun, intense, and dirty sex. She has never experienced anything like it before, and the two of them are very quickly swept up into a sexual frenzy that takes them both by surprise.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is crazy. I have spent a lot of time fantasizing about fucking you. Like, a lot. But the real thing just blew the fantasy out of the water.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But what happens when their physical relationship starts to morph into something more? Natalie has a life back at home that she needs to get back to, and Miles is a wanderer who has never had a real relationship in his life. Can they be more than best friends who rock each other\u2019s worlds? And will they be brave enough to face the fact that they are clearly falling for each other?<\/p>\n

I loved this book. It\u2019s fun and romantic, and though it doesn\u2019t exactly hold any surprises, I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Natalie and Miles are both fantastic characters, and their chemistry is fantastic! I laughed out loud at the banter and teasing, and Miles was absolutely hilarious! His inner monologue was so entertaining as he revelled in finally having the woman of his dreams in his bed and fought against the inevitable, feeling things he never had before.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas it love or cardiac arrest? Fucking hell, did people actually like this feeling? It was horrible!\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Their coming together is really well written with lots of heart, lots of laughs, a little bit of drama and a whole lot of sexy time. I love the way it all unfolded.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m loving this series and can\u2019t wait to continue on with the next book.<\/p>\n

Loved it \u2013 4 stars.<\/p>\n
