5 stars!

Lucas and Daisy have been enemies since the day Lucas pulled Daisy’s little hair bow when they were just infants. From that moment on, the competition began and though they haven’t seen each other since they left for different colleges, the rivalry hasn’t let up.

Now eleven years later, Daisy’s dream of owning her own practice seems to be at her fingertips when she comes home to take over the small town practice she has had her eye on. Then she hears that Lucas has also been asked to join the practice and she refuses to accept that it will no longer be hers alone. Just like before they are back to the shenanigans and Daisy is determined to prove once and for all that she is the winner and should run the practice by herself. Let the competition begin!

I love enemies to lovers stories and Anything You Can Do hit the nail on the head. It’s fast-paced, laugh-out-loud entertainment that is sure to put the biggest smile on your face.

Some things have changed since Daisy and Lucas have been apart. They have grown up and Daisy now sees the smoking hot man in front of her. But no matter how sexy Lucas is, the rivalry that is ever present. Lucas still drives Daisy crazy yet what started out as friendly childhood competition turns into something more now that they are adults.

I have been stuck in the same loop for nearly three decades. The backdrop has changed and supporting characters have flitted in and out, but the script has stayed the same: I am Daisy Bell, rival to Lucas Thatcher, and the weight of carrying around that hatred has started to wear on me. Deep down, I’m starting to forget what exactly it is I hate about Lucas.

This story is hilarious. I loved watching them one upping each other only to realize that there is a fine line between love and hate. Things aren’t always as they seem and as they spend more time together, feelings start to shift.

What was once a childish chess match has turned into an X-rated game of capture the flag, except our underwear are the flags. I’m seriously considering going commando for a few weeks, but I don’t think that will dull the intrusive thoughts.

The sexual tension between Daisy and Lucas builds until it explodes, and I felt the intense connection that was hidden under the all the competition. They steam up the pages and melt my heart at the same time.

Daisy is a hoot. Everything that comes out of her mouth was entertaining and I loved hearing what ran through her head. She pushed Lucas away a little more than I would have liked but I understood how hard notions are to let go.

Though the book was written almost entirely from Daisy’s POV, I loved that we got snippets into Lucas’s mind through the emails. Everything made sense as the story unfolds and I couldn’t help but fall for Lucas.

Overall, witty banter, scorching chemistry, smoking hot sexy time, and a playful romance made it impossible to put this story down. Anything You Can Do is a must read for rom com lovers and those who enjoy enemies to lovers storylines.

*Note: I listened to the audiobook and it was fantastic. The narrators brought the story to life and I felt the emotion through their words. Definitely an audiobook I would recommend.
