4 fun and feisty stars!

This is the final book in the Brooklyn Book Boyfriends series, and it’s a wonderful finish as Keaton and Roxy’s fiery love story rounds out what has been a fantastic collection of fun, sexy and funny romances that have captured my heart.

Keaton and Roxy were introduced in the last book of the series as the respective best friends of Chase and Aimee. I wasn’t too sure what to make of Chase in that book, so I was excited to get to know him better in this one, and loved that we immediately got to see a different side to him – one where he is starting to feel lonely for the kind of love that his friends have found, and is ready to say goodbye to his playboy bachelor life, and find somebody to share his life with.

Roxy is feeling the same, and the two of them share a moment at Chase and Aimee’s wedding, and end up sharing a very hot make-out session. But Roxy is wary of Chase and his reputation, so she runs, and spends the next few years doing her best to avoid him despite sharing friends, and a godson with him.

Then their friends arrange a getaway at a couples-only resort in the Caribbean. As the only singles in the group they are both so disappointed to be missing out on time with the people they love the most, but when one of the couples drops out, Keaton jumps at the chance to take their spot, and he manages to convince Roxy to go along as his fake girlfriend. And so, the scene is set for fun times ahead!

I love a fake romance story, and when you’ve already got chemistry sizzling between the couple, like you do in this case, it’s even better. Keaton and Roxy are clearly attracted to each other, and Keaton has decided that this is the perfect opportunity to finally win Roxy over and explore their wild sexual attraction for real. So we get treated to scenes of teasing, inuendo, flirtatious winks and grins and almost moments that had me desperate for more. And when Roxy finally gives in to him…. wow. These two are so freaking hot together, and more than that, they are just so right for each other. We see it in every interaction as they talk, flirt and banter, and their teasing is so much fun. I loved watching them grow closer and finally start to explore everything that is between them, and I fell hard right alongside them.

Keaton is a fantastic hero. He perseveres through Roxy’s bitchiness when she keeps trying to push him away, and his lighthearted playfulness is so much fun as he works to win her over. And amidst all of the fun, you can feel the depth of their connection, and the emotion between them is really beautifully written.

His hands find mine and he laces our fingers together, and it’s beautiful. So much for quick and dirty.

Adding to the fun, we get to spend lots of time with the previous couples of the series. I loved getting to catch up with them, seeing where they are all at, and the group text messages were a riot! I love their group dynamic, and the way they had “Roxton’s” back through everything, and it was such a joy to see them all happy and up in each other’s lives.

I loved this book. It was so much fun, it made me laugh, and the romance left me grinning and swooning.

4 stars!
