We’re two stars on a collision course for each other. There is no orbiting around one another like some sweet love story.
Our story is different.
Our story is explosive.
Our story is chaotic.
Our story is my favorite.

The bomb that was dropped at the end of Text 2 Lovers left me with my jaw on the floor. I knew I needed to get my hands on Hate 2 Lovers and read Andie and Roman’s story.

We first meet Roman in Ram and Dani’s story, Text 2 Lovers. He works alongside his siblings, Ram and Reagan, and doesn’t usually find himself in serious relationships. However, he has been enjoying his time getting to know Andie – physically – and he has no reservations about being exclusive.

Andie, Dani’s hilarious best friend, grew up with a warped view of love. Her mother died, her father left, and she only sees the pain their relationship produced. She has no desire to enter a serious relationship with anyone but she has been having fun with Roman. However, now that she is pregnant with Roman’s child, everything is about to get crazy!

I really enjoyed this book. It is so funny and over the top but there are still moments that are heartwarming and swoony.

Andie is this loud-mouthed, gorgeous woman who loves to fight with Roman. If she can pick a fight, she does because “arguing is [their] foreplay.” Now, the fighting escalates when she finds out she is pregnant and she becomes a complete mess. Her reactions to the pregnancy hormones had me cracking up and her responses to those reactions were just as funny. Her emotions are conflicted and all over the place, but Andie still didn’t let her feelings out because of the wall she had built up around her heart. I really enjoyed watching Roman knock that wall down.

Roman is a total alpha and super possessive of Andie, all in a good way. His gentle side shines through and I loved his concern for her and the baby. He has no problem saying what was on his mind but he also had a sweet tenderness towards Andie that made me all warm inside. I loved his commitment and persistence to prove his love. His reaction to Andie’s antics and the way he handled things was great.

“I’m not coming in tonight.”
“Why?” I ask, my voice shaking.
“Because I want more than just our passion. I want you. All of you.”

These two are crazy together and prove that there really is a fine line between hate and love. They are as quick to scream as they are to moan when they are together. They fight all the time but it makes for some seriously intense sexual tension. And the make-up sex is smokin’ hot and there is a lot of it!!

The epilogue in Reagan’s POV gives us a glimpse into her book. I love the friends-to-lovers trope and can’t wait to get my hands on Thieves 2 Lovers, the third book in the 2 Lovers series. I am excited to see how Reagan’s story plays out!
