It’s the start of nothing good.
I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number
And he replied.
Him: Show me a picture.
Him: Tell me your name.
Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger?

It’s the start of everything right.
I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong.
And she made me laugh again.
Her: You’re probably a creeper.
Her: Possibly a stalker.
Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine?

Him: Take a chance with me.
Her: This is crazy.
Him: I need to see you.
Her: What are we doing?
Him: We’re about to find out.

Her: PHOTO ATTACHED
Him: PHOTO ATTACHED

3.5 “YOU GOT ‘RAMMED” stars!

Get ready, Buttercup. I’m playing for keeps.

I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t help the goofy smile that was plastered on my face. This was such a fun, light-hearted, sweet read. I am still smiling hours after finishing it. If you want a feel good book that is smothered in sweetness but also burns up the pages, this is the book for you.

Dani caught her boyfriend cheating and the icing on the cake? He just proposed…to another girl. Down and out, hurting from a broken heart, what’s a girl to do? Taking her besties advice, Dani sends her ex rude text messages that are very unlike her polite, kind self. Little did she know, she texted the wrong number.

Ram is a breath of fresh air. He sweet, quirky, and funny, and has his own set of problems. He is intrigued by the crazy text messages he’s gotten and after getting to know a little about the girl behind them, his life will never be the same.

This book was entertaining and I had such a fun time reading it. The banter is hilarious. It all starts with some raunchy texting and I could help but giggle through the whole thing. It’s awkward and embarrassing but oh, so good.

Me: Why is your dick so small and unless?
Cheating Asshole: I don’t think it’s small at all. I’ve always been voted top in my class.
What a conceited ass!
Me: Well, it did nothing for me.
Cheating Asshole: Maybe it’s because I would have had to be present to use it on you.
Oh, now he’s acting like he was never mentally there when we had sex?! The nerve!
Me: Your taint smells like
horseshit.
That text was brought to you by Andie who snatched my phone from my hands.
Cheating Asshole: Maybe you should come over and offer me a redo.

Just as I’m typing out my rebuttal, another text comes through…
1-555-657-5363: I want the key you have to my place back.
It takes a few seconds for it to register.
And when it does, I freeze.
“Holy shit.” I stare as my phone. I go back to the number I’ve been texting. And then back to the number that just came through. Not Daryl, and then Daryl.
“Oh my God! I typed in the wrong number!”
“What?” Addie yelps,  leaning over looking at my screen. “Well, then who the hell have we been talking to?”

The rest of the story continues with humor and a whole lot of sweet and swoon worthy moments. I loved watching Dani and Ram’s friendship bloom over text. They were able to really get to know the real person with no conceived notions of who they are based on looks. They took chances, acted bolder than usual, and opened up to each other when they might not have otherwise done.

The build up to the physical meeting was well done. It was amusing and exciting, and I couldn’t wait to see how it would go from there. When they finally run into each other in real life, its hot and heavy and the start of something steamier. The whole romance was a whirlwind, completely consuming them. They are a bit too wrapped up in their little world so when the drama hits it hits hard. I actually could have done without it. It was frustrating the way things went down but thankfully it wasn’t drawn out too long and the way it was all resolved was entertaining. I just didn’t care for the ways Dani and Ram handled the situation and thought they showed a bit too much co-dependency.

Overall, I did enjoy Ram and Dani though. Ram wasn’t OTT alpha but still had some alpha tendencies and I liked that he wasn’t a total caveman with her. Ram brought out something in Dani she couldn’t explain and he made her feel alive. He has his own vulnerabilities that he needed to work through and Dani had a way of making things better when she was around.

Prim and proper but sweet and down to earth, I liked Dani immediately. She so nice but also the girl that “everyone takes advantage of” and I loved that she grew a backbone and refused to be a pushover any longer.

I loved that the authors each took a character and wrote their POV using their own unique style. It made the characters come to life and created their individual personalities. Both were well written and engaging.

I have to give a shout out to Andie. She was a great addition to the story. I loved her loyalty to Dani and her unconditional support. She was rude and funny with a no nonsense attitude that made me smile. Her interactions with Roman were fantastic and I am looking forward to reading their story, Hate 2 Lovers.
