Book #7 in the Pittsburgh Titans series, this is a sweet and sexy romance with minimal drama, and a happy ending for another Titans player.

Hendrix and Stevie meet when the Pittsburgh Titans are doing an event at her bar. Hendrix is smitten at first sight by the feisty bar owner, and though she is initially reluctant, he convinces her to give him a shot.

It’s a simple story. I liked both Hendrix and Stevie – he’s a good guy, she’s got a bit of emotional baggage – and their relationship is fast moving and functional, sexy and romantic. There’s really not that much that happens in the story apart for some last-minute drama stemming from their pasts which is predictable but engaging. It’s resolved well, and I enjoyed seeing these two get their HEA.

3 stars.
