4 stars!

This novella takes us back to the first couple of the series, Ben and Mia. Now the married parents of two young boys, they are still madly in love and still completely wild for each other, but they’re having trouble finding time just for the two of them. Between their kids, and Ben working nights, they haven’t been together for a while, and they’re both struggling with the distance.

Ben and Mia’s passion for each other is intense, and they take every opportunity to try and get at each other. And even though they have a series of frustrating near-misses trying to get it on, this is a sexy little read full of steamy time and swoony declarations as we see once again just how perfect these two are together.

Sighing, I press my lips to his, kissing him slowly and moving my fingers along his cheek.
“I love you,” I breathe into his mouth.
He drops his forehead against mine. “That’s all I need, Mia. All I’ll ever need.”

Along the way we get to catch up with other couples from the series, and I enjoyed seeing them again. We also get a glimpse of CJ’s book up next, and I’m diving right in!

A fun read for fans of the series, I enjoyed this one.

4 stars.
