The final book of the Empire Nightclub series, Gabriel and Mercy’s story comes to a satisfying finish as this unlikely couple continue to fight hard for their happy ending.

Please note – this series is one continuous story, and this book cannot be read as a standalone.

This book picks up right where the last one left off – Mercy is in trouble, Gabriel is desperate to save her, and he and his brother are more determined than ever to bring down their crime-boss father once and for all. It’s a fast-moving story that continues to blur the line between good and evil, and with action, revenge, and new alliances formed, I love the way this book played out.

The steam is absent, but the romance is strong, and I loved seeing Gabriel and Mercy together, committed, and determined to claim their HEA.

“Haven’t you figured it out yet? Everything I have is yours … Including my heart. That’s yours. It’ll never be anyone else’s.”

Gabriel is a wonderful bad-boy turned romantic hero. He’s still operating in shades of grey, but his heart is in the right place, and his journey throughout the series is really well done. Mercy was always a bit of a badass, but this book shows just how far she’s come, how brave she is, and how she’s such a great match for Gabriel, more than able to hold her own in his world. These two have become quite the powerhouse couple, and I loved them together so much.

There are lots of loose ends to tie up in this book, and I loved seeing all of the different elements come together. There are some surprises

All of the audiobooks in this series are narrated by Ada Sinclair and Alex Kydd, and they do a great job with the story.
