Emotional, beautiful, funny, heartbreaking and romantic, this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I absolutely loved it! It’s an epic love story of two soul mates who meet as children and who face and overcome insurmountable challenges to be together and create a good life. Beautifully written and full of emotion, it’s an amazing story and I was captivated from beginning to end.

OMG, I don’t even know where to begin with this book! I love Aly Martinez’s writing and she just keeps getting better! This time she has delivered a deliciously intense second-chance-romance, while at the same time weaving in a secondary story that ties in perfectly with the first, creating a complex but mesmerising read and setting up the second book in the series perfectly – with two couples’ stories tied together in a way that is unique and absolutely captivating. Intense, emotional, romantic, sexy, dramatic, heartbreaking and suspenseful, I felt everything, and I absolutely adored it!

I loved this book! It’s an absolutely beautiful love story that made me laugh, cry and swoon. Aly Martinez is already an auto-buy author for me – I love her writing and her ability to take you right into the heart of her story and feel every moment of it, and days after finishing this book, I’m still thinking about it (and that cover – wow!). It’s deep and emotional, but also so incredibly funny, and the romance is absolutely beautiful! I fell in instant love with Sam, Levee and their story and I devoured this book from start to finish.

I loved this book – with a unique set up, a broken hero and a beautiful love story. This book has drama, but it’s also funny, sweet, swoony and romantic, and there are some clever little twists in there as well. Brett and Jesse’s love story was beautifully written and I was captivated from the very first page.

This book is everything that I love about this author’s writing – funny, with lots of laugh-out-loud moments, but also dramatic, heartfelt and stunningly romantic, with the different elements balanced perfectly to create a wonderfully enthralling story with amazing characters, some great twists, a whole lot of feels. I absolutely loved it!

He didn’t budge, but my bare feet slipped, sending me toward the ground. Impossibly fast, Till’s hand snaked out and caught my arm. But I didn’t let his chivalrous
gesture douse my fire. I had six months’ worth of words to say to the man I was irrevocably in love with.
“You took what you wanted. Then you left me.”
“Doodle,” he whispered.
I had been perilously close to the edge of insanity, and with one single word, he’d pushed me over.
I lost it completely.
Pounding my fists against his chest, I screamed at the top of my lungs, “It’s Eliza! My name is fucking Eliza! Not Doodle!” I spun to march away, but Till’s arms folded around me, lifting me off my feet to restrain me.
I was miniscule compared to him. There was no use in fighting, but I still kicked my legs, irrationally desperate to get away from him—but only because I knew I couldn’t keep him for forever.

There was no way I ever could have expected his answer, but that wasn’t because it was a novel thought. No. His answer was surprising because it was the source of my anguish too.
“The real world.” He kissed my forehead.

Never one to take herself too seriously, she enjoys cheap wine, mystery leggings, and baked feta. It should be known, however, that she hates pizza and ice cream, almost as much as writing her bio in the third person.
She passes what little free time she has reading anything and everything she can get her hands on, preferably with a super-sized tumbler of wine by her side.
