4.5 stars!

Kiss the Girl, book three in the Naughty Princess Club, is Ariel’s story. Ariel is one of the owners of The Naughty Princess Club, an in-home stripping company she started with her best friends, Cindy and Belle. Both her besties have found love but Ariel doesn’t want to touch that four letter word with a ten-foot pole. She’s been burned in the past and doesn’t want to repeat history.

Fairy tales don’t happen in real life.
Shit. Forget I said that. They happened to both of my friends. Let’s just say they don’t happen to me and I’m fine with that. F-I-N-E, fine.

Eric is a part owner of Charming’s Gentleman’s Club and the recipient of the sass that comes out of Ariel’s mouth the very first time they meet. He seems to want to explore the connection they share, one she totally denies, but she pushes him away at every turn. Then, when she finds herself homeless and without her possessions, she accepts the keys to one of his boats when he offers her a place to stay. What follows is a fun, flirty, sassy, steamy romance that will have you laughing out loud and falling in love.

This series is hilarious! I loved In Bed with the Beast but this one is even better. Ariel is hysterical! She is sarcastic, funny, and honest, and the things that come out of her mouth are over the top ridiculous! She also collects antiques, has ten fish tanks, and is a tried-and-true friend. Her ex did a real number on her and now she is insecure and vulnerable, and all her fears are relatable and realistic.

Watching her gain her confidence back was empowering and I loved the growth she goes through. She’s endearing and impossible not to love. I wanted to much for her to find that special one to knock her socks off and who better than the enchanting Eric who helps her find herself again.

Eric is sweet, sexy and downright swoontastic. I probably highlighted half of what came out of his mouth and I couldn’t help but melt.

“Your sarcasm and attitude is fun to watch. Honestly, it’s the highlight of my day, wondering what the hell will come out of that mouth of yours next.”
The smirk on his face suddenly disappears and the seriousness that replaces it makes my heart stutter.
“Seeing you broken and hurting and sad is like having someone stick a fucking knife in my chest. I don’t like it. So, if pissing you off removes that look from your face like your entire world is imploding and there’s nothing you can do to stop it, good.

Eric knows exactly what Ariel needs. His support is solid and he doesn’t push her, instead allowing her to find her way. And Ariel challenges him in the best way and opens his eyes to what he really wants.

I’ve never had to work for anything in my life. It was all just handed to me, and I’ve always taken it for granted. All I had to do was ask, and I got whatever I wanted. And then I met you, and the first words out of your mouth to me were fuck off,” he laughs.
“And yet here you are. Still not fucking off.”
“Nope. I took one look at you and I knew for the first time in my life that I’d have to work my fucking ass off. And it would be worth every mouthy moment from you.”

The banter is fantastic. It’s witty, snarky, and freaking hilarious, and I found myself cracking up throughout the book. It’s a slow-burn romance that progresses perfectly with deliciously building sexual tension and an explosion when everything comes together, and I loved it!

I have to give a shout out to Cindy and Belle. I loved seeing them again and how wonderful they are with Ariel. This amazing trio of women has a solid friendship, always supporting each other and having each other’s backs. This series is a definite must read for anyone wanting strong heroines who are funny, entertaining, lovable, independent and empowering.

“Can I kiss the girl now?” he whispers.
“You’re so cheesy. And no, you can’t kiss me. I’m in charge here. I’ll kiss you.”
