This is a great little standalone from Samantha Towle. A fun, sexy read that sucked me in with laughs, epic chemistry, and a gorgeous romance. I loved this one!

Dillon has travelled from the UK to the Maldives for what was supposed to be her honeymoon. Instead, she’s on her own for the non-refundable holiday after she caught her fiancé in a compromising position two weeks before their wedding. It’s a horrible situation, and though she’s not as devastated as she probably should be, she’s looking forward to drowning herself in alcohol while making plans to move on with her life during her two weeks in paradise.

West is an American who has is in the Maldives for some peace and quiet and to get away from life for a while. His life is stressful, and he’s looking forward to two weeks of soaking up the sun and doing whatever the hell he wants. That plan becomes infinitely more interesting when he’s sitting in the bar on his first night and a very drunk Dillon walks in.

Dillon and West have a very natural chemistry, and even though he’s a perfect gentleman while caring for her drunk ass that first night, once she sobers up in the morning, it’s even more explosive. The sexual tension is sizzling and completely undeniable, and when West proposes that they enjoy each other for a no-strings holiday hookup, there’s no way Dillon can say no.

“You mean, like…a two-week stand?”
He chuckles low, and I feel it like a hand between my legs. “If that’s what you want to call it.”
“I’m really not sure what to call it,” I whisper.”
His look is searing. “Sex, Dillon. You call it really fucking hot sex for two weeks straight. If you let me, I’ll make you come so hard and I’ll fuck you in so many ways that you’ll still be feeling me for weeks after.”

OMG, I love this relationship! It’s fun, it’s playful, the chemistry is insane, and the sex is freaking HOT! West is upfront and honest about everything he wants with Dillan, which I love. He is gorgeous, confident and infinitely sexy, and he turns out to be a sex-god who likes control and a bit of roughness in the bedroom (and wherever else they do it), and the steamy time is off the charts! But more than just sex, they are together pretty much all the time, and they have such an easy way together. They are open, and they talk, they laugh a lot, and their interactions are flirtatious and full of banter, and I loved every moment with them together.

“We’re both consenting adults. We’re both single. And we’re incredibly attracted to each other.”
“You are so confident.”
“Attractive, isn’t it?” I give her a smile that’s been getting me laid since the ninth grade.
Her teeth sink into her plum bottom lip. “Oddly, yes.”
I like that answer. I like it a hell of a lot.

But Dillon is a romantic at heart. She’s never been in an arrangement like this before, and her growing feelings for West mean it’s going to hurt when it’s time to end her time with him. But he told her straight-up that a short-term fling is all he’s capable of, he’s never had a relationship and he’s not interested in one. But the more they explore each other in their tropical paradise, the closer they become. Will they be able to let go?

“I like you,” he says, his lips brushing over mine.
And honestly, his words surprise me.
“I like you too,” I tell him quietly.
“I don’t like many people.”
“So, I’m one of the lucky ones then.”
“Obviously. But so am I. You’re like no one I’ve ever met before.”

This is such a fun read. I laughed and swooned and I loved these two characters so much. They both have some baggage, and while you think you know where the story is going, there’s more to it than just their two weeks, and I couldn’t put this book down as it all played out. There is a bit of drama, which adds a nice amount of emotion and intensity to the story, giving it a lot of heart, and I loved it.

4.5 stars!
