Blurb

A new college campus. A secret bound to explode in my face. And a football player neighbor who is bad news in the best of ways.

Reid Riddick was hotness personified, so of course I literally ran into with him–more like he plowed into me. A stolen kiss later and my heart races whenever he looks at me from across the quad. I’m head over heels. But my secret might send me into free fall.

I’m the daughter of the president of our college. The president of our college who’s been feuding with the football coach for years. Their bitter campus war leaves us teetering on the edges of a divide we can’t see a way across.

Until resisting him is more than I can handle. He’s risking it all for me. His standing. His season. His future.

Throw in a campus gossip site. My out of control new friends. His way too hot roommates. College traditions. A secret bar and the only guy who’s ever made me feel like he can’t live without me. And I have another secret. Our star-crossed love is my first and I want him to be mine.

Book 1 in the new STFU series – rival campus to Fulton U!

4 “pinkie promise” stars!

Kiss and Tell is fun, forbidden sports romance and the first book in the new St. Francis U series!

Leona a transfer student at St. Francis University and she runs into Reid on her first day She has no idea who he is, just that he is intriguing and she’d like to see him again. There is a spark when they meet and when they see each other again they both want to hang out. Then, they find out that Leona is the daughter of the President of the University and Reid is on the football team. It wouldn’t be bad if the football coach and her father didn’t hate each other. Instantly, their relationship goes from having potential to being forbidden.

Leona and Reid decide it is best to keep their almost relationship to themselves and pretend they aren’t interested in each other. They had good intentions to stay away but when they keep getting thrown together, they just can’t stop the sparks from catching fire. The sexual tension is high, the attraction is real, and they can’t deny their connection. Eventually, they think maybe they can just have some fun but feelings change everything and their lives get a bit crazy.

Reid is determined to go pro. He has a lot weighing on his shoulders and I understood where he was coming from and why he didn’t want a relationship to risk his future plans. He has a lot of growth in the story and I loved watching him realize what means the most to him. Leona’s idea of relationships is a bit skewed because of her parents and she has her own personal growth in this story as she realizes nothing is black and white.

This book is the perfect mix of light and heavy. It gives us feels and makes us laugh, and I was rooting for these two from the beginning. Reid wanted to take things slow and it was so sweet but funny at the same time since Leona had other ideas. Their relationship worked so well together.

I love a good forbidden romance and I was invested in these two and couldn’t wait to see who things played out. There isnt too much drama which I appreciated and I liked the secondary characters that helped Leona and Reid along the way.

About the Author

Maya Hughes, that’s me!, can often be found sneaking in another chapter while hiding in the bathroom from her kids! 🙂 I’m a romance writer who loves taking inspiration from everyday life, namely my husband and biggest fan. Inspiration also strikes when I hear a song, meet someone new or daydream while at soccer practice.

I love writing stories that capture the possibilities of the paths less travelled and enjoy experiencing life through my characters’ eyes.

I’m the mom of three little ones, the wife to an amazing husband and also work full time. Some of my favorite things are cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, white wine, laughing until I can’t breathe, traveling with my family and Jeff Goldblum.
