Release & ARC Review: A Very Vegas St. Patrick’s Day (A Very Holiday, #3) by Kayley Loring & Connor Crais

A Very Vegas St Patrick’s Day by Kayley Loring and Connor Crais is live!

I love this book! It’s fun, funny, sizzlingly sexy and swoonily romantic. A hookup that becomes a Vegas wedding that becomes a funny and sweet single-parent romance. Featuring one very determined and irresistibly charming Irish hero, this is such a great read!

Blurb

You might think the problem would be waking up in Vegas, hungover, next to a beautiful woman who’s wearing your boxer briefs and finding out ya married her in the middle of an epic drunken night of festivities.

But you’d be wrong.

I, Nolan Cassidy, international charmer and maker of mischief have fallen head over heels for Cora Delaney.

I want to be married to the lass.

So you might think the problem would be that she wants an annulment.

But again you’d be wrong—stop getting it so wrong.

I, Nolan Cassidy, with my devil tongue and Irish accent, will no doubt change her mind.

Does the problem lie in that she has a son who doesn’t like me and is as clever and crafty as I?

Or that I’ve only got one month—until St. Patrick’s Day—to prove to my one true love that I can be a good husband and father?

C’mere and I’ll tell ya…

None of that is the problem.

I’m a problem.

My boxing days may be behind me but the fight never left me.

When I see something I want, I get it.

And nothing is going to stand in my way.

Not my new wife’s hesitation nor her son’s doubts.

So buckle up, strap in.

Because I’m no longer in the business of wanting.

I’m in the business of having.

Which is gonna make for one wild Paddy’s Day.

Review

“What happens in Vegas was meant to happen.
Isn’t that the saying?”

5 stars!

Gah, I love this book! It’s fun, funny, sizzlingly sexy and swoonily romantic. A hookup that becomes a Vegas wedding that becomes a funny and sweet single-parent romance. Featuring one very determined and irresistibly charming Irish hero, this is such a great read!

Nolan Cassidy is the Irish cousin of the Cannavale brothers in the first two books of the series (though this one can absolutely standalone). He is an ex-boxer and now splits his time between Ireland and the US, setting up high-profile boxing matches. Its on one of those trips where he meets Cora at the airport, and some quick-witted banter and flirting leads to him cancelling his trip home and them spending days in a hotel room doing all sorts of steamy things.

I whisper in her ear, “Give me your body tonight.” I command. Of course, she can say no. But she really needs to trust that it’s in both of our best interests if she doesn’t.
“All yours,” she whispers back.

Holy freaking hotness, these two are on fire! Their chemistry sizzles, and they hold nothing back as they explore anything and everything with each other, and it’s So. Freaking. Sexy! They agree to keep things simple and go their separate ways after their time together without exchanging any personal information. But even though they make a clean break, neither can forget about the other, or the incredible time they spent together.

And then fate intervenes, reuniting them a month later in Vegas, and they pick up where they left off, sharing a blistering night together, and drunkenly exploring the sights of Vegas. But this time, they wake up married.

In the harsh light of day, my head aching, my mouth dry, my eyes stinging, I don’t look back on it with regret.
I said I loved her. And I meant it.
And she said she loved me.

Did she not?
It hurts. It hurts deep that sober Cora sees our night as a mistake. As sober Nolan sees it as the best decision he’s ever made.

It’s a fantastic set-up for their romance, and I was revelling in the playfulness of this relationship. They laugh and play together, the banter is fantastic, and of course the sex is off the charts steamy. And best of all, is the feels. They have fallen hard and fast for each other, and Nolan makes it very clear that he’s all in.

“My time with you has been some of the best of my life. And I’ve had a grand feckin’ life. I wanted to marry ya because I wanted a taste of what forever would feel like with you. I said I love you because I love you.”

Cora has reservations, and all becomes clear when she hesitantly agrees to give the marriage a chance, and her sassy ten-year-old son is introduced into the mix. Ashton is a great little character, he’s absolutely hilarious, and I loved the added dynamic that he brings to the story. And Nolan is in for the fight of his life to win the little man over and prove that he’s got what it takes to become the husband and father that they need him to be.

“Fate brought you to me. It’s my desire and duty to never let you go.”

God, I love Nolan! He’s funny and charming with a great sense of humour, his poetic musings are hilarious, he loves his grand declarations, and his POV is so much fun.

“Today is the day I reckon with fate. The day I wrestle with my destiny to become the man of the house and win over my new heir.”

And as deliciously filthy as the man is, he also wears his heart on his sleeve for his girl. He holds nothing back, and he made me swoon so many times.

“You’ve already stolen my heart, Cora. And I don’t ever want that fucker back.”

There is some drama, but it’s short-lived and resolved in hilarious style, and I finished this book with a huge grin on my face. It’s a fun, easy read with unforgettable characters and a gorgeous romance, it made me laugh but still brought the feels, and I loved it.

Her feelings are a perfect mirror of mine. What we have is special, magical, not something that is a trick of the night burned by the light of day. Our souls have traveled the world and found home.

About Kayley Loring

Before writing steamy romantic comedy novels, Kayley Loring got a BFA in creative writing from a Canadian university and had a fifteen-year career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles (under a different name). She mostly wrote PG-13 family comedies that studios would pay her lots of money for and then never make into movies. In 2017 she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest and write about all the fun stuff that she wasn’t allowed to write about in those PG-13 scripts. Now she’s breathing cleaner air and writing dirtier words. It’s an adjustment she’s happily getting used to.

Rest assured that her funny sexy sweet romances have no cheating or cliffhangers, and always have HEAs!
