My first Elsie Silver book! A fun, sweet and sexy romance featuring a headstrong bullrider, and the woman sent to keep him in line, I really enjoyed this one!

Rhett is a champion bull-rider who gets in big trouble when he inadvertently disses one of his biggest sponsors. In order to do some damage control, his agent sends his daughter/employee, Summer, out to spend the rest of the season with him to keep an eye on him, making sure he stays out of trouble. Summer is a chronic people pleaser, and she wants to please nobody more than her beloved Dad, so she throws herself whole-heartedly into her task.

Neither Rhett nor Summer think too much of each other to begin with. They have been forced together, and neither of them are too happy about it. But as they tour together, Summer gets to see Rhett in the ring, with his friends, and at rest with his family, he gets to see her huge heart. They learn about each other, they like each other, the chemistry between them absolutely sizzles, and they unexpectedly fall and fall hard.

I enjoyed these two together. Their chemistry is great, they flirt and banter, and the sexy time is so, so hot! They both have things they need to work through, but it’s nothing too angsty or dramatic, and they are there supporting each other through it all as they figure out what they want.

It’s an easy read, and an enjoyable one, and I’m looking forward to continuing on with the series.

3.5 stars.
