Reviews and Blurbs

This fun collection features six brand new stories – some of them standalone, some of them linked in to an author’s existing series. I’ve only read a couple so far, but this collection is available for a limited time only, don’t miss out!

Merry Inkmas by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward – 4 stars

Review:

This is a cute story. Two hostile colleagues working in a tattoo studio are heading away for an employee Christmas retreat. When they arrive, they learn that they are the only two there, sent away by their boss to sort out their issues before they’re both fired.

Snowed in for the night, Cade and Daria get to know each other over dirty card games and lots of alcohol. It’s funny and snarky with some flirting and dirty talk, and I really enjoyed watching these two come together.

Christmas in Chestnut Springs by Elsie Silver – 5 stars

Review:

This is a fantastic read – an epilogue of sorts for the Chestnut Springs series as we check in with each of the couples of the series on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day.

Each chapter is from the POV of a different character – Rhett, Cade, Jasper, Theo and Beau – as they gear up for the big day, with some fantastic progression for some of their stories.

I loved seeing these characters again, and loved the opportunity to see them living out their blissful HEAs together.

Storm of the Century by Susan Stoker

Blurb:

When a snowpocalypse leaves Police Chief Simon Hill stuck in a traffic jam from hell two days before Christmas, freezing to death is a real possibility. ;Until he finds his secret crush, the woman who warms his heart, stranded just a few cars away.

The Rebel by Marni Mann

Blurb:

One bed.
Two stranded strangers.
Three wildly passionate nights.
A thousand secrets between them.

After an unplanned, sizzling weekend together, what happens when Cooper Spade and Rowan Cole return home and realize they spent seventy-two unforgettable hours with the enemy…

And loved every second…

Always Mine by Brittney Sahin

Blurb:

Two worlds collide when Eva Scott and Bree McGregor wind up in danger in this Steal Ops – Dublin Nights crossover event. Luke Scott and his team join forces with the McGregors to save the ones they love before it’s too late in this ecxlusive short story.

Rolland Ruins Christmas by Meagan Brandy

Blurb:

I don’t want a woman to call my own. It’s a decision I made long ago and one I plan to stick by.
Too bad for me, the little brat down the road seems determined to change that, prancing around in her little Santa suit and bringing me things I don’t want.
No matter how many times I ignore her not so subtle advances, the girl keeps trying.
I’m going to have to set her straight the hard way…even if it means ruining Christmas.
