Maggie and Shay ride the same bus to and from work on a daily basis, and though they’ve noticed each other, they’ve never said a word. Then an incident on the bus acts as an icebreaker and Maggie and Shay discover just what they have been missing.
This love story is a gorgeous slow burn romance that may be quiet with words but it is loud with emotion. There is a connection before Maggie and Shay even know it and I absolutely loved seeing their relationship blossom through both their eyes. It’s beautiful, organic, and believable.
Maggie and Shay face natural challenges but those challenges ultimately do not hold them back from getting to know one another. Sometimes it takes longer to understand what the other was thinking but I loved that they are patient and caring, and willing to learn. They accept each other and everything they are and though there are moments of misunderstanding, there isn’t any over the top drama.
Overall, I loved Quiet Types and it has easily found a place on my favorites shelf. It’s the first book in the new Quiet Love series and I can’t wait for more. Rhys and Charli’s story is up next in the series!
