The Holy Grail by D.E. Daniel is live!
This is a gorgeously romantic read, a functional, heartfelt and fun exploration of a triad relationship (MMF) with fantastic characters, lots of emotion, and a beautifully slow burning romance.

Once upon a time,
there was a girl who dreamed of falling in love,
getting married, and living happily ever after …
That girl was not Jules Shaw.
Perfectly content to live her life as an independent woman,
doing what she wanted,
when she wanted,
and with whom she wanted,
with no apologies and no regrets,
Jules wasn’t looking for anything long-term.
Long-term wasn’t on her Bucket List.
Especially when it came to relationships with men.
Until the day Jules decided to take a chance
on something that had the potential to be real,
a decision which would lead her into uncharted territory …
… in more ways than one.

This is a gorgeously romantic read, a functional, heartfelt and fun exploration of a triad relationship (MMF) with fantastic characters, lots of emotion, and a beautifully slow burning romance.
This is a spin-off from the Moments duet, featuring Jules and Evan, the best friends of Paige and David, and though there is character crossover, you can easily read this one as a standalone.
Jules is a fabulous heroine – she’s smart, confident, fiercely independent, tells it like it is, and she lives her life exactly how she wants. That includes never settling down, but when she finally takes a chance on gorgeous, shy and quiet Malcolm, she finds herself falling fast. But as much as she’s enjoying her first real relationship, she also has feelings for her friend Evan, who is admittedly in love with her and devastated that he missed his shot. And in a complex yet authentic series of events, we get to see Jules, Malcolm and Evan all come together in a beautifully natural love story, and navigate the realities of a triad relationship.
Though their situation is new to each of them, and there’s a bisexual awakening which brings challenges, it’s all so functional! They’re honest with each other, they support and love each other unconditionally, and they’re willing to openly explore everything in the bedroom. It feels natural and it’s a true equal partnership. There’s nobody in charge, there’s no third wheel, there’s just chemistry, trust, respect, love, playfulness and a whole lot of steam as they slowly and realistically explore their new dynamics. They each bring something unique to the relationship, and they complement each other beautifully, and I loved watching them settle into life together.
This is a long book. The first half is well paced and had me completely engrossed, but it slowed down in the second half. I found the long and in-depth therapy sessions a bit dull, with entirely too much talk of crystals, and it felt like there was a lot of filler. But I did enjoy this book. It’s beautifully written, and I love the journey that these characters went on.
There’s a great bunch of side characters, with satisfying story progression for David and Paige, and I loved getting to see Jules, Malcolm and Evan’s families.
This is great read – a unique story with wonderful characters and a gorgeous love story.

Meet D.E. Daniel
Born and raised in Washington state, I spent much of my time reading and writing. I became hooked on romance novels as a young teenager after reading Forever, by Judy Blume, and from there I moved on to V.C. Andrews, Victoria Holt, Johanna Lindsey, Judith McNaught, Jackie Collins, Sandra Brown … you get the picture. I wrote dozens of short stories, along with my first ‘novel’, when I was in high school, and while I’m sure none of them were very good, the process of writing lit a fire in my soul.
After graduating from college and getting married, my military husband and I spent the next twenty-five years moving around the country, living in six different states (twice in Alaska), and raising two children, along with a menagerie of pets. Through it all, I kept reading and writing, until I had a dozen, half-finished contemporary romance novels on my laptop, and a vague dream of having one of them published someday.
Now currently settled in Michigan with my retired husband, I’m writing full-time in my downstairs bunker, working on finishing those novels. And when I’m not writing, I’m thinking about what I’m going to write … because as Gloria Steinem said, “Writing is the only thing that when I do it, I don’t feel like I should be doing something else.”
So, buckle up, because I’m just getting started …
