A super short read, but so much fun! This is a part of the Improbable Meet Cute collection, a series of novellas written by different authors writing fabulous first encounters leading to happy ever afters.

Holly and John ‘meet’ when they start exchanging notes on Holly’s car. It starts as a case of mistaken identity but develops into so much more. They’re both dealing with some pretty big life changes, and their quick messages to each other help through, leading up to the inevitable meet cute which is adorable and had me grinning madly.

“Take responsibility for your own unhappiness. If you don’t love your life…change it.”

At a little over an hour of listening time, Abby Jimenez manages to pack laughs, excitement and anticipation and a whole lot of feels into this little story. The characters are awesome, the chemistry is fantastic, and I wish it wasn’t over as quickly as it was.

I listened to this as an audiobook, narrated by Andie Arndt and Zachary Webber, and they do a great job bringing these characters to life. It’s a great one to listen to.

I loved it – 4 stars!
