What happens when your mystery match is everything you want—except he’s your real-life enemy?

I would honestly rather walk down Fifth Avenue in my underwear than deal with David at work.

When my best friend’s brother creates a blind dating app where your friends play matchmaker, signing up feels harmless. Seven days of anonymous texting before you can even exchange phone numbers? Easy. Low stakes. Zero chance of someone finding out it’s me if I don’t want them to—especially since I sign up with my middle name instead of my real first name, you know…  just in case.

My mystery guy turns out to be charming, funny, and he gets me in a way no one else ever has. I look forward to every message like some kind of lovesick teenager staying up way too late just to talk to him.

There’s just one teensy little problem, one big enough to shake the universe—the person I’m matched with is David from work only I don’t figure that out until day seven.

So now I’m falling for the man I swear I can’t stand, and he has no idea it’s me on the other side of the phone.

What do I do when the seven days are up and real life steps in, insisting I either reveal myself or ghost the one person I never meant to fall for?

Oh No… It’s You is a contemporary rom-com featuring an irresistible enemies-to-lovers, workplace romance twist that will have you rooting for David and Zoe to finally get it right.

Review

3 stars

This is a fun little read with chemistry, banter and a lot of heart, I enjoyed this book. A workplace enemies-to-lovers romance where bickering colleagues are matched together on an anonymous dating app and fall for each other online, without realising who they’re actually talking to.

David and Zoe have genuine animosity in the office which is entertaining, but their interactions online are so sweet. They flirt and get to know each other, and I got happily caught up in their text conversations. But when Zoe realises who she has actually been talking to, she is completely shaken.

Everything I’ve ever wanted is sitting in the room next to mine, only he has no idea it’s me.

I wasn’t expecting this story to go in the direction it did, and I appreciated that it wasn’t completely predictable. There are ups and downs, but the developing romance is sexy and emotional, and feels so easy. And David stole my heart as we get to know him as a kind and generous family man with a huge heart and swoon for days.

“There is no shame in what happened last night.” He kisses me softly. “There’s nothing weird between us this morning, so let’s just make this clear right now. I want this. I want you. We’re going to do this.”

It’s a quick but entertaining read with a satisfying ending, I liked this one.

3 stars.
