It’s been five years since I’ve seen him. An unexpected event takes me back to the place where it all began.

But I’m no longer the naive young woman he once knew. And he’s no longer the man who took nearly everything from me.

Can this be our time? Or is it too late? Did I find myself only to lose him?

5 stars!

The Fisherman Duet is complete and it is everything!! The Lost Fisherman is nothing like I imagined, it’s so much more. It’s perfection for this duet and I couldn’t get enough. A second chance romance full of heartache, healing, and growth, the feels are intense and the love is consuming, raw, and really messy. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way because I think the whole duet played out perfectly.

I don’t want to give anything away so this will be short a sweet. Reese is older and wiser but still has learning to do. Fisher is not the same, either, yet they still have the connection that no one seems to see or understand. Just like years before, things are still messy. Is timing on their side or will their great love remain in the past?

I could hate him for a lot of things, but I couldn’t regret us or all the reckless moments that sent us spinning in a whirlwind of passion and love. Love. It was love. I knew it always would be love. A tragic love, but nonetheless love.

This book is fantastic. Reese and Fisher meet again and nothing goes as expected. The sexual tension is off the charts and the attraction is palpable. The age gap is still there but it’s not as extreme now that they are older. The obstacles set against them are vast though. It’s not easy at times and you may want to scream but everything Reese and Fisher go through is worth it.

It’s a fabulous mix of light and dark, funny and serious. The heart hurts but the heart also heals. The journey is a hard one and Jewel pushes you out of your comfort zone is a different way than in the first book. The characters are still very much true to themselves but they are also changed and I love the growth they experience individually and all they are as they also grow together.

One of my favorite things about this book is the falling in love part. We get to see it happen all over again and it filled me with so much joy. It makes you believe in soulmates and finding the one. Reese and Fisher are meant to be and there is no questioning that. A magnificent duet and a new fave!

Timing … it really is everything in life.
