The final book in The Wolf Hotel series, and I enjoyed this book, though it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.
Firstly, these books are one continuous story, so be sure to read them in order. This is the finale to Henry and Abbi’s story and after their ups and downs, the romantic sap in me was hoping to see their HEA all wrapped up with lots of sweet detail. And while they do get that HEA, there is some more drama coming their way first.
Henry and Abbi are together, in love, and planning their future together when a blast from the past will rock their worlds once again. I’ve gotta say, I thought the twist of Violet was really well done. I really loved her as a character, and I like what she brings to the story with the new relationship dynamics.
We also get introduced to Henry’s unknown-until-now three best friends. They allow us to see another side of the enigmatic billionaire, and of course they provide a good excuse for some more kinky shenanigans as Henry and Abbi continue to push their limits with each other. It’s milder than I expected when all the boys (and Margo) all showed up, but the sexy time between these two is still really freaking hot.
In the middle of everything, Henry and Abbi are still very much in love, and I love that even with the drama swirling around them, they continue to stay strong and don’t let anything come between them. And after being so closed off for so long, seeing Henry as a man in love is still a gorgeous thing.
“You own me, Abbi. Everything that I have and am is yours, and that will never change. That, I can promise you.”
Where this story fell a bit flat for me was the happy ending. The wedding build-up is there, and we get some weird flashback moment, but I want to see it! I’m a hopeless romantic, and I don’t want to have to imagine, I want to see the wedding and the honeymoon and the babies and into the future. After four previous books and all that I’ve been through with these two, I needed to see all of that. But it’s not there.
I also wanted happy endings for Ronan and for Margo, and though we did get to see them, there’s no closure at all for their stories.
So, there were parts of this book that I really enjoyed, but it left me feeling a bit disappointed at the lack of detail.
Still a good read though, 3 stars.
This audiobook was narrated by Avery Reid, who also did the earlier books in the series. She goes a great job, and bonus points for consistency!

Those books were so good I couldn’t stop reading either one of them. I loved the story line and the sense of humor and romance along with the suspense. It would be awesome if you did a movie on all these books and brought them to life. It would be number one I’m sure everyone would want to see it.
Glad you loved them 🙂
