A short, easy enemies-to-lovers romance that is sweet and sexy, this is the third book in the Fluke My Love series, bringing us the story of Libby Reed – the youngest of three sisters that have featured so far in this series.

Libby is smart and hard-working, but her personal life is a bit of a mess. She has watched her two older sisters find love, and she wants that for herself. But sadly, she is completely hung upon on rude and arrogant firefighter, Antonio, who seems to hate her. But when the two of them pitch in to help run Antonio’s parents’ pizzeria, they end up working side by side and suddenly everything begins to change.

Yeah, I was wrong about her. Now I need to prove to her that I’m not the jerk I’ve shown myself to be more than once. I have my work cut out for me.

Initially, Antonio is a real jerk. His reason for disliking Libby all this time is weak, and he really has been a ass to her. But I could feel the chemistry between them, and I loved the shift that happened when Antonio set his sights on winning his girl.

“This is going to work,” he states, looking into my eyes. “I know with the way I treated you in the past I don’t deserve anything from you, but I need you to know that I’m all in. This is what I want. You are what I want.

It’s sweet and heartfelt, and Antonio is like a new man as he dives headfirst into a relationship with Libby, and watching it all happen for them was just gorgeous (and steamy, of course!).

There is some conflict – which was both annoying and completely avoidable, and I had to roll my eyes as I could see it all building up to the inevitable. But thankfully it’s short-lived with good resolution and multiple epilogues to show us Libby and Antonio’s HEA.

Libby and Antonio’s family are a fun addition to the story, all rooting for something to happen between them, and we get to see a bit more of the couples from the previous books which was great. And is it too much to ask for a book for Walter? Because damn, what a sweetheart!

This is a really quick read, which means the story is pretty fast moving, but it’s enjoyable with good chemistry and it’s a really easy read.

“Whether you run into it, stumble into it, or get tossed into it, love has a way of finding you.”

3 stars.
