Skylar and Ford bring on all the fun in The Flirting Game, an all new fake dating hockey rom com in the Love and Hockey series. Starting with a hilarious meet-cute and ending with a happily-ever-after, you’ll love every minute of their delightful love story.

Skylar and Ford meet on the street while walking their dogs. Skylar is a hot mess and rubs Ford the wrong way. From the start she annoys him and he can’t wait to get away from her. However, it turns out that Skyar is none other than the interior designer he is meeting later that day. First impressions are proved wrong when Ford realizes that Skylar is just who he needs to renovate his parents house. What follows is a fun

When Skylar isn’t working she appears to be total chaos but once she is on the clock, she’s one hundred percent professional. She is trying to expand her business from small room renovations to whole house jobs. Ford is a hockey player in his last year and wants to go out on his terms. He needs to focus and give it his all if he’s going to do just that. He wasn’t expecting Skylar to walk into his life but sometimes you don’t know what you need until you meet the right person.

What starts as a fake relationship turns very real when these two connect. They share a love of animals as well as dedication to their jobs. They understand each other especially when it comes to having your heart broken and not wanting to go through that again. However, sometimes love sneaks up on you when you least expect it.

Skylark and Ford are so much fun. From witty banter to smoking hot chemistry, these two are perfect together. I was constantly smiling with a warm heart, fanning myself from the heat they give off, or giggling every time they were together. They fit into each other’s worlds flawlessly and I couldn’t get enough of them.

I’ll add that I love all the secondary characters. It was great seeing the other Love and Hockey characters as well as getting to know Ford’s mom, and even spending time with the pups.
