OMG, this book! This book is EVERYTHING that I love about Emma Chase. EVERYTHING! It’s funny, sweet, smart, sexy and romantic, and a functional, easy friends-to-lovers romance that absolutely captured my heart. I was in love from the beginning right through to the end and I reveled in every moment of this wonderfully entertaining and blissfully romantic story.

Yes, 6 stars, because OMG, this book! This book absolutely and completely captivated me and I could not put it down. I started reading yesterday afternoon and finished it in the early hours of this morning, and now I’ve slept on it, I still can’t stop thinking about it, and I want to read it all over again. It’s been a long time since a book affected me like this, and I’m still all overwhelmed by the feels and the emotional rollercoaster that this story sent me on. I’ve read all of Cole’s books, I know that she writes emotion well, and after reading that blurb I knew this book was going to be something special. And I was not wrong.

This is one of those books that becomes a fully-immersive reading experience. I easily lost myself in this story, completely sucked in by the beautifully emotive writing, the incredible characters and their heartwrenching yet achingly beautiful story. Spanning 15 years, this is not always an easy read, and I had tears streaming down my face more than once, but wow, what a story. I absolutely loved it, and it’s become an instant favourite.

OMG I love this book so much!!! It’s a beautiful story of a woman determined to get a fresh start and a broken man who has isolated himself from the world getting a second chance at love. It’s an emotional and heartachingly beautiful story with a romance that I could not get enough of. I read this book in a day, unable to put it down, and it made me laugh, cry and swoon so hard. A truly magic read and my favourite from the series so far!

What can I say about Maximoff and Farrow that I haven’t already said? Not a whole lot, because they are an amazing couple and I cannot gush enough about them, and this book is a spectacular celebration of the love that Maximoff and Farrow have for each other. This is their third book, and they remain together, committed, and riding all that life throws at them – standing strong together, being there for each other and leaning on each other. And every moment of it is pure bliss.

Yes, yes, yes! From the moment Emma Chase announced that she was going back to write the story of Queen Lenora – regal grandmother of Nicholas and Henry from the Royally series – I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book, and OMG what a story! The strong, stubborn and majestic Queen of Wessco is a force of nature as an 80 year old matriarch, so meeting her as a young girl, watching her find her way as Queen and then meet the love of her life was a fascinating read. Fun, emotional and empowering with an epic love story, I loved every moment of this story.
